Why is this getting red? I've been looking for an X61, and if this isn't a good deal,
some commments as to what a good deal would be would be helpful.

Yeah they are on special. I found some additional information on the sale over at CC here is a LINK to the article. Pretty HOT Deal if you ask me ...

great deal; i paid right around this much a couple months ago for an X61 with a 20% off coupon plus 10% live.com + 3% fw CashBack. this is even hotter than that. upgrading to the 8-cell battery is a no brainer.

This is a nice find but the deal below has similar pricing on the x61 and more importantly you can get into the x200 for around the same price.
