This is luke warm and not necessarily hot, but the 500gb WD My DVR Expander, great for easily adding storage capacity to a TiVo HD without opening the box and doing an internal upgrade, is selling for $129 at Amazon (facilitated by Tiger Direct).

Shipping is noted as ~$7.

Until this price point I have only seen this listed at $150 or more.

Again, you could certainly do a 1TB internal upgrade for the same price or less, but for those wanting the ease and convenience of popping on an external USB drive, this is a great solution.
