The cheapest I found was $235 - $241 range for brand new. Now, regardless of the fact that this is "open box" item, I believe that for more than 50% of the regular price it is really worth getting it.

Note: This comes without hard drives, but as far as I can tell it supports at least up to 1TB drives.

My experience with Thecus has been nothing but satisfying. I only have been using N5200 devices, but I read some reviews for N2100 and it seems pretty good too. It is not the fastest device out there, but it works well for most home setups.

Curious about the maximum size drive the N2100 supports, I emailed Thecus last week, and finally got a response tonight:

Dear Sir,

Thanks for your mail.
N2100 support up to 500GB HDD, if need the 1TB HDD with Hitachi HDS3721010KLA330 only, such huge volume HDD out of N2100 hardware design and would make N2100 damaged, instable or data crash easily, thus we would recommend N3200 or above model for 1TB HDD, following HDD list link for your reference:

Of course, it's a moot point now, or at least is for anyone who still wants to nab one of these from ZZF, since they're all gone now.
