Thing seems cool, was thinking about mounting behind my lcd. Not sure if it can handle HD x264 well though.

VESA mount capability is a design feature.
I've been building a shuttle k48 as an htpc for over a week now and it can play 264 codecs with ease. I have not tried 1080p on it yet but it can do 720p with no hitches.

granted this is much larger, but can run circles around that Atom processor. Its still a really tiny form factor. This thing sits behind my DLP and no one even sees it sitting there.
