Glad this got posted, but...

Darnit, I was going to post this last night, however, I couldn't. When you look at the RS page, it showed the image on the right with the $19.99 price, but when I clicked on the image, the item came up as $24.99, and this was also the price in the cart.

Also, "Sale valid until 10/17/08"

costco had a coupon that brought this item to this price that recently expired. However they were sold out soon after the coupon became valid. I'm in on this deal, but I know they will probably be much cheaper come BF.

i hope you're right, but these are what are commonly know as "famous last words" usually followed by depression waiting for it to come around again.

the built in protective feature of this device is incredible.

Been waiting for 8gb to fall to this range and pass on my 2gb-one of the most reliable rigid build usb that served me well.

Had 10 minutes to debate whether to wait for BF, I am sure it will go lower (I guess every FWer go through this mental debate for "time VS tech price", just WHEN to buy it, even over a $20 purchase)

But no rebate.. And I haven't pass the grudge of Logitech losing my rebate from another deal.. I pulled the trigger..

Thanks for reading my reasoning.. I just have to lay it out to make myself believe I made the right decision…

I miss the old cruzer w/skins. They were tiny and indestructible. Why don't they make them like that anymore?

EDIT: I also recommend using TrueCrypt on your USB keys. I carry a backup of my documents on my USB key drive so it's imperative for me to maintain data security. I'm sure many FW's would like to know this.
