Thanks! May jump on a couple of these after I buy 1k worth of gift cards on eBay.

End up getting them for 400 each this way.

PS - If you go into store, you can pick tons more colors, get them fitted, and pick out ones that are >1000 to get the 2 for 999 deal.

I picked out 2 that were 1098 each for 999 total, theyll get em in 7 days and I come in and get them fitted and tailored at that point.

1000 worth of giftcards off eBay @ 30% CashBack = 700.

999 + tax = 1070ish.

Total cost, about 385 each for suits that would cost around 1200 with tax retail.

This is nice. Thanks OP

how much alteration do these suits allow? Are they like the off the rack suits that you can't adjust the armholes? The suits at Macy's or men's warehouse have low armholes that don't let you raise your arms even horizontally.

The fitzgerald line says it has higher armholes and a more athletic cut. Also flat-front pants... seems like a winner for us folks under 50.

Thanks OP. But I wonder if there will be better deals closer to Christmas... I don't really need 2 new suits now. Hmmm...

I just went into to the downtown nyc branch and tried all three lines (Madison, Regent, Fitzgerald). I went in thinking the Fitz would be the one for me since I always buy the slim fit shirts but it's a little too form fitting for me (I'm a relatively slim guy but it felt very stretch, need something a little more conservative).

The Regent looked fine but had stitching around the lapels that also looked a little odd to me. I think I'll end up with the Madison (the most traditional but looked best on me).

Not sure deals will get any better around Christmas (this is lowest I've ever seen). Though with the way the markets have been going, who knows?

P.S Open a Brooks Brothers Card and get 15% or $150 off.

If I pay like 800 on gift card and then pay the other 200 on a new brooks bros card, can I still get the 150 off?

Or better yet, can I pay off my Brooks Bros card with Brooks Bros Gift Cards?

max cask back from MS is $200. so you're getting $1000 in GC for $800.

Not if you buy 2 $500 cards though.

from what I read it looks like theres no way to combine eBay giftcards with this 15% off deal on a brooks card... too bad, that would have gotten these down to about 310 each.

how does the gift cards off eBay thing work again? I'm confused - is it the same as the microsoft deal?

have there been many sellers offering BB giftcards on eBay though? I see one, and that person has jacked it up over face value.
