I was wondering the same thing. How does the customer know whether or not the member card is "applicable?" I'm sure the coupon scans, but how do I know whether or not the clerk expects me to show a card first? I suspect a degree of YMMV on this. I'm gonna try anyway.

It's a new thing. It's kind of like pizza delivery -- you call in your order and they deliver a cup of coffee to you really fast so it arrives steaming hot.

It specifically says you're only allowed one use, but how would anyone ever know (unless you use your member card which isn't even required)?
