If you get them to use your card, there is. I'm sure you forgot it, right?

Dick said:BN is going to get pasted with these!!!! I bet they had no idea the coupon would go "viral".I doubt that is true. They've done free coupons like this in the past which have gotten heavy distribution.

picool said:Coupon terms says "This coupon valid from Oct. 15th till Oct 31st at Close of Business". Does it mean the free offer is only when they are closing the store for the day?For you, yes.

Thank you OP! Took the kids to the free B&N story hour this morning and got a free latte AND a half price danish. Thanks again!!

Here, I have a dumb question -- Does the coffee include the cup or do you need to bring your own cup? How about a straw? Since the coupon does not state this explicitly, I want to make sure.

I guess I'll just call the store and find out.

BTW, what the heck is LMAO?

...Sarcasm intended.

I was asked to present B&M membership card with this offer.

I used it twice, once for me and once for a friend, no membership check, even though I do have membership. I will be back tomorrow and everyday until the end of the deal.

Yesterday, I got majorly hassled for no membership - was told this was for members only. When I pointed out the wording on the coupon for 'all other customers' the gal then told me I would have to buy a Cappauccino - even thought the coupon clearly states it can be used for several other drinks, including the tall latte which I ordered. With much huffing and puffing on her part, she finally let me have my beverage, but informed me she was going to e-mail corporate, phew...

It's always funny when store clerks/cashiers make up their own rules. It happens in stores like Walgreens too.

Until October 31st, 2008, you can use the following coupon to get a free tall Caffe Latte, Cappuccino, Espresso, Brewed Coffee, or Hot Tea from Barnes & Noble (Up to $3.20 Value), as well as 15% off one item.

Just curious how you can get anything but what the coupon says which is a free Cappuccino?

I brought the coupon in and was told I could just get the small Cappuccino...

It was okay but I would never spend the $2.80 for it...

If you look at the bottom of the coupon (the second to last paragraph), it clearly states, "This coupon can be redeemed for one (1) complimentary tall-size caffe latte, cappuccino, espresso, freshly brewed coffee, or hot tea."

You can also pay the up charge of .50 for flavoring of your choice. I was able to get the pumpkin spice latte for .50 OOP. : )

Thanks.. used both this weekend in LA

Did not work at my BN location. Turns out it is not a Starbucks coupon. So if there's a Starbucks inside a BN store, it wont work.
