The 16 GB Flash Voyager features Corsair's proprietary all-rubber housing boasting unheard-of durability. In many third party reviews, the Flash Voyager has been shown laundered, baked, frozen, boiled, dropped, even run over by an SUV, and it continues to work!

We obviously don't recommend you subject your Voyager to such abuse, but it's good to know that it's up to the challenge of living at the bottom of your briefcase, purse, or desk drawer! The Flash Voyager USB 2.0 drive is stylish, compact, and reliable, so you know you can trust it with your MP3s, digital images, presentations and other critical data.

Fully Plug and Play with most operating systems and backward-compatible with USB 1.1. Includes TrueCrypt security software, which enables AES-256-bit encryption, hidden and password protected partitions.

OK, you got me. Where do I find the coupon(-code)?

This one sounds nice, I'm going to get it as soon as I'm back home from work!

EMCBACBBH

EMCBACBBH is the saver code. Most of the time you hvae to be signed up with Newegg to receive them AND to be eligible to use them.

Thanks to both of you; worked. I am signed up just did not know about it...

I can't add it to my cart.

Hm.. Got it. I guess it's an US only deal. I tried doing it from Chile but it wouldn't add. Now I'm doing it from San Francisco and it works fine. Don't forget about Bill's 3% back. Tax sucks.

I have this and I love it. (Minor) Warning: if you intend to carry it around a lot eg. with your keys, you'll likely lose the cap after a while.

thanks, got one with 3% live CashBack.

in for one

Remember that speed matters in some flash drives. I don't know about this particular one, but I'd hate having a 16GB drive and having it take an hour to copy 2GB. Just something to ponder before buying it.

jazzyinco said: I don't know about this particular one, but I'd hate having a 16GB drive and having it take an hour to copy 2GB. Pointless and irrelevant overexaggeration there, but the first half was right.

Corsair's GT line is their higher speed line. Corsair Voyager drives Of course the deals seem to be on the slower speed drives.

Overexaggeration? I cite this on a Newegg review of a different 32GB flash drive. I spent 2 hours yesterday looking for a decent speed drive to buy.
NewEgg review

"Cons: Recording speed is extremely low. I transferred 1.44GB in approximately 50 minutes. Then I edit 400mb of pictures and saving direct on the drive which took the key approximately 70 minutes to finish the transfer. the Record speed is just too slow. I am considering buying another one and giving that as a "present""

Sure there are lots of reasons why this might happen.. USB 1.0, a real slow drive, but I'm just making sure somebody doesn't buy a drive thinking it's the fastest thing since .. um.. well... fast.

He must be using a usb 1.1 port. This one will give a write speed around 10MB/sec and read spead 19MB/sec according to google.

OOS

Bought this recently at $54.99 ($28.61 AR, after coupon), thought it was hot.

Contacted Newegg for price adjustment through live chat. Got $10 back, that will make it $18.61AR.

Me:
Hi I recently bought a Corsair 16GB flash drive at $54.99, your price is now $44.99.

Newegg:
Let me look into this for you. One moment please . .
......
......
Thank you for holding. Please note that we do not offer price protection. However, I have made an exception and credited $10.00 to your source of payment. You will receive the confirmation email later. Please allow approximately 3-5 business days for the funds to be available onto your account.

Note the rebate has be postmarked in 21 days and is paid as a gift card.

grr, just missed it, OOS

Gaah! I purchased one from Newegg just yesterday for $27.99 AR!

I just got off live chat with a CSR and she gave me a $3 price adjustment and applied the coupon code for me.

Word is Newegg doesn't do this stuff, but they made an exception for me.

You rock, Newegg!

Steve

HAH! after a bit of pushing i got a $10 credit back to paypal account from the last 16GB corsair deal in september.

Newegg rocks.

I tried to talk to Newegg live chat agent, but they can only offer me $10 credit on my NEXT order. Better than nothing

Gift card? What is this crap? I want a check!

sort of OT but what is the deal with flash drives and SDHC cards getting slower with greater capacity? I have a 8gb sdhc card and it reads and writes pretty quick but my 16gb version seems to be MUCH slower?

Rebate form says it wants a receipt or packing slip. Is the invoice the same as a receipt?

I always print my invoice out from Newegg online and send that in for rebates. Never been rejected.

just pulled the trigger, back in stock, oo yesterday.

thanks op

If you do lose a cap, call Corsair, they were kind enough to send me 2 of them when I lost mine.
