Damn, illegal in Wisconsin. Guess I'll have to use my gun instead.

No customer service from Surplus Computers. They do not answer email. They have an answering machine set up that says it is already full of messages. I tried contacting them for over two months with no luck. I had to call my credit card company to deny payment. They then lied to the credit card company. Buyer beware

Just because they may be illegal in your state, doesn't mean you cannot purchase one. I plan on buying one....and they will sell it to me. Just like those cell phone blockers that are illegal in the US.

I plan on giving it to my cousin Chino who lives in Calexico...honest, officer!

I agree with the guy who recommend a gun for protection, just because you CAN shoot an intruder doesn't mean you HAVE to, but it's nice to have the option. If you want to go with a stun gun at least spend the bucks and buy a Taser that shoots darts like the police have. This thing requires you to get way to close and personal, and relying on a $13 device with a nine volt battery in it just doesn't seem smart.

Sounds like they could use a 'taste' (taze) of their own medicine..

Honestly?...I would rethink your position. I don't want a temporarily disabled intruder in my home. If he wants to run away great, but if he keeps coming, I don't want to "immobilize" him. I know I'm not going to trust the lives of my family to a one shot hope of "immobilization".

It's called, "You tie the guy up, whack him a couple times, then call the cops."

communicate with your attacker. don't be ugly to him or try to hurt or stop him. ask him why he is doing what he doing and work things out

Is that your final answer? What about the second guy?

I figure that is someone were to break in, I would prefer to immobilize him rather then shoot him dead!

Anyone have a recommendation??

Shoot them dead, why risk a lawsuit!

I guess they are big targets for belligerent behavior/thefts/animal attacks?

Entrepreneur - Politically correct way of saying "drug dealer" or "prostitute". Sure, a dealer needs a gun, but they don't want to go killing all their customers if all they need is a little shock... especially in this economy.

THis is not good for home defence. Buy a Remingotn 870 ($230 on sale)or a Mossberg 500 ($199 on sale). You have 5 shots, not one. WHen shooting 00 Buckshot you're sending 9 .32 caliber pellets faster than the speed of sound with each pull of the trigger...much better for eliminating home invaders
