Since the number of Type-S in Southern California was dwindling each passing day, I bit the bullet at 31K+TTL, about 33.8K OTD. Includes mud guards, wheel locks and trunk tray which usually costs about $300.00(MSRP $795). Not sure whether this was a slickdeal but a good deal nonetheless. Have driven about 200 miles in the last 24 hours and just love the car. It's a good deal if you think it's a good deal - it doesn't matter what some random Internet person like me thinks. Congrats though, it's a fine car. Don't get any speeding tickets. |

yeah tlwisner you make sense about the deal and the speeding ticket. Over the past 10 years I have gotten some incredible deals by following these forums but I guess this one was an impossible one and while trying to pursue it I thought I really was on a wild goose chase. I am glad that better sense dawned on me sooner than later. It is quite a jump for me from my 150 HP 1999 Honda Accord to this one ..so I better be careful. |

But hey, you can get a 08 TL for 27K, that's cheaper than a used one. Where ? It might be possible for a Base TL but I learnt it the hard way that it was not possible for the TL with Nav or the Type-S. |

Its possible to get an 08 TL dirt cheap since there's a lot of leftover in the inventory and dealerships wants to move them. I guess nobody is buying due to the current bad economic situation! |
