They may be trying to get a head start on consumer Christmas shopping before black Friday. They did the $10 gc last year on one of the major holidays but you had three days to shop the store in order to receive the gc.
Too bad there's no more KB Toys near my area, but green for you OP.

Please be aware of the $10 trap, you have to spend $30 to get the $10 but when you want to redeem that $10, you have to spend another $30. If there is no good bargain during that time (11/13-11/25), the $10 is useless.

Seems MEGA so-so at best Only one hour and not all stores, not to mention the $10 is off $60 (according to other poster $30 to get and another $30 to use), so about 30% off overpriced store prices (40% off max, if you buy 2nd $30 and use $10 off during same 20% off event and only buy $30, no more to maximize savings).
You can get the Xbox Arcade holiday bundler for $199.99 - %20 off = $160 and then buy a game later for $10 off. Doesnt sound like too bad of an idea to me. Xbox Arcade and 3 games for under $200 bucks. Would make a good X-mass/holiday gift.

with the excluded video game system bundles, can you still buy the video game system without it being bundled with any games or movies?
Anyone know if this will work for the video game systems? Says not valid for "Video Game System Bundles" but what about just purchasing the system? Anyone got some experience with this?

KB stores left in my state don't carry video games.
I went to my local KB tonight and... The prices arent the best. Even after the 20% off I saved less than a buck off the price at WalMart. Oh well I now have a $10 bounce back. We will see how that one works out.
