Rambusman said:You'll have to cancel your order and reorder it. I did that this morning after the price dropped to $2,005 for the TV. I Did the same and got the 52W. Total package $1909 for everything. Heck CC has a special 52V and blue ray for $1999. After adding sales tax of $150.00 delivery $75 and 4 blue ray disk at $70. It comes to $2294.00 I got my 52W for $1909. |

there is also a rebate from Sony. They will send a free blu-ray disc with a purchase of a player. http://www.Amazon.com/gp/product/rebates/B001A4LVYY/ref=dp_rebates_1?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&s=electronics |

Too bad, for that blue ray movie rebate you had to order by 10/18 which I certainly did not do. No worries, still excited, Amazon shipped TV today, due for deliver 11/17. Thanks OP, I got in a couple days ago at the $1500 price on the V100. |

That's what I got...no regrets. I checked both 52W4100 and 46Z4100 out at Best Buy and found the z model to be of better quality. It's thinner too. |

It's unbelievable how hard it is to buy something from Amazon. I used to love Amazon, but they've really declined. First, it is tough to decide exactly when to make this purchase because the price keeps changing several times per day. If the price goes down 20 minutes after you placed to order, too bad because they no longer have price protection. You've been made a fool!! Second, when I try to place the order with my "premium" Prime account, neither the $300 discount or the $100 discount show up. So I tried using a new account. This partially worked. The $300 discount shows, but their system refuses to accept the $100 discount code. I'm persistent, so I tried calling their customer support. I talked to two different people for 30-45 minutes. Neither was able to even find the deal on the website. Yet it shows up for me and for all the rest of us. I'm terrified that if I place the order and email their customer support, they will deny the discounts. I guess this just wasn't meant to be... |

Good things come to those who wait up until 2:00 am. The 52V4100 is now listed at $1639.99 and the 52W4100 has been reduced to $1906.27. I placed an order for the latter and sent an email to Amazon to get the discount problem corrected. |

I called CR for the $100 coupon not working. She said will look into it and call back. She called back after 2 hrs and asked me to place the order and she will credit $100 when order fills in. I placed the order and called CR and told them about my previous conversation. This time a guy said I couldn't combine two offers and refused to give $100. So I canceled my order. Couldn't go to sleep, so came back and called CR again and spoke to another lady and she said she would credit when my order fills in. When I first ordered the TV was $1711 and when I placed the order 2nd time it was $1639 hoho... price dropped in 25mins Right now my order shows up as $1634 (for TV "V series", DVD player & 4 disc). She has made a note and when the oder gets filled, should be $1534... Not bad... Thnks OP |

Thanks OP! I think these'll make my fiance's Christmas a happy one! He keeps giving me a hard time about what he gets in return for buying me a ring (I keep telling him exclusive rights to ME! Duh!! ), but I think this big item will make him stop teasing me and feel all warm and happy. |

"Save $300 When You Buy Select Sony BRAVIA HDTVs with Select Sony Blu-Ray Players Save $300 when you buy either a Sony BDP-S350 or BDP-S550 Blu-ray disc player together with select Sony BRAVIA HDTVs. Simply add an eligible BRAVIA HDTV and Blu-ray player to your Shopping Cart, and the $300 will be automatically deducted at checkout. The offer is valid only for players and HDTVs sold by Amazon.com. Offer ends November 8, 2008. Some restrictions apply. Also, add four of select Blu-ray titles to your order to save an additional $100." |
