I have the Amazon visa, how do I get the 6% CashBack? Thanks!

It is not giving me the $100 off in my checkout what do I need to do to get that?

Use promo code AMAZONBD

jbtay said: It is not giving me the $100 off in my checkout what do I need to do to get that?you need to enter the code AMAZONBD for the $100 discount.

also add this remote and code AMAZONPS along with bd player and 4 movies to get the remote free too.

Wow, this hurts after jumping in on the Boscov's deal with a PM to Sears. This is actually less than that was with tax, plus you get a Bluray player and 4 Movies!

Good Deal OP!

Not working with prime again. So annoying. Only works with my wife's normal account.

Awesome Deal!

No wonder -- I've been trying different browsers like a moron...

Amazon is cahrging NY state tax?

Anyone have any thoughts on the service plans Amazon offers? It says provided by New Customer Service Companies. If I get a new TV for 2K, I want it covered. Especially since these Sony's are already reportedly problematic.

If I only had enough space for a 52". I recently bought the 40" version that fits perfectly in my room. I spent $1000 and it came with a Sony home theater system through Dell. For 1500-1600, if I had the space, I would gladly drop that amount for this TV.

Not 120Hz, kills it.

nice deal. By the way the specs were a little misleading to me on the Amazon site, this tv is 60hz.

stevejabn said: Not 120Hz, kills it.

You can choose the 120Hz version and the deal is still very good, but you pay more for that TV.

For example... The Dell deal which was posted yesterday for the KDL-52W4100 came out to $2161 after coupon and DPA with a 4 year plan, and I almost jumped.

Todays deal if I use the same TV (if I had to have 120Hz) comes out to $2136 with a 2 Year plan PLUS the Blu-Ray player and 4 movies (est eBay value $300 if not keeping)

GREAT deal, but personally, I'm still waiting it out...

is this the highest quality bravia?why is this so cheap?

Thanks OP! Just ordered...needed a new TV this week since my old one just died...Anyone know what the difference is as to how they deliver it vs. whiteglove? Will they just drop the box off in front of my apt?

not having any luck getting the free remote also...

cool, probably need to call CS, great info though thanks!

If you have Amazon visa, there will be 6% Cash Back detail click hereFWIW, link states that double points are only available for the first 90 days so this probably won't apply to most existing Amazon Visa holders.

have a same question

This is the entry level Sony, but still a very good TV. I personally would opt for the W or Z versions though. But for this price, I think it's a very good deal.

-D

I had no luck getting either promo.

Great deal. I ended up with the 4100w 52" 120HZ, DVD Player and Dvds for $1,810.97. You can't touch many 52" LCDs with 120HZ and 10 bit screens for under $2,000. The free Blueray DVD player is icing on the cake. I would doubt that Black Friday will present an opportunity this good - delivered to your door tax free no lines or people to deal with. The earlier Samsung 52" 650 TV through Fry's was slighty less @ $1,678 but the there was no DVD player included. Thanks to the OP for making my Holiday season so simple, economical and stress free.

This may not have the 10 bit panel. Some forum indicate that there may be a 10 bit panel but it is open to debate. I apologize for the misinformation.

I was having the same problem..I had to clear all cookies and create a new account since I have Prime...After that it worked...Follow the directions exactly like the OP says...click the link, add the tv and player and then click the back button...then add the dvds and remote, then add the codes when checking out.

I tried things in that order...except with the remote on there. I didn't try the AMAZONPS code tho. Just AMAZONBD.

I'm contacting CS to see if they will add the 3 discs back onto my order and credit me with the $100 discount or not.

Hopefully they will.

Thanks for trying to help.

not having any luck getting the free remote ...Seems like stacking with the 4 free blu-ray disks has been removed. The $19.99 AMAZONPS credit gets replaced by the $100 AMAZONBD but removing the player brings the $19.99 PS3 remote credit back. The T&C for the free remote says "Promotion cannot be combined with other offers" so YMMV on the CSR route.

can anyone tell me why 120 Hz is better than 60 Hz thanks!

outlawnyc said: can anyone tell me why 120 Hz is better than 60 Hz thanks!

the 60Hz or 120Hz is the frequency of the scan (refresh) rate. the faster (higher the number) scan rate, the faster/more the screen can refresh.

from what i have read, faster scan rate means less "ghosting" or blurring of the picture in fast action sequences. however, i've got an old Syntax Olevia 27" model that i never see that on. maybe it's just with bigger picture TVs.

that's just off the top of my head...i'm no expert tho

Here's a review on the TV Review & the Blu_Ray Player Review

This TV is second level. Entry level Bravia 1080p is the "S" model. This TV is the "V" model.

I think I am in. Wow this saves alot of headaches from BF

I pulled the trigger

I got mine to work. You have to pick specific Warner home movies from OP's link. It was my fault.

i used standard shipping to get them in 3-5 days, rather than 6-9 and save $6 .mine looked like this:

Make sure you're picking the V model, Sparky...not the W...I think the W is the $1800 one.

OH MAN! I think it did. what a bummer

Yup the price on the V and the W just jumped!!!

I have never heard anyone complain about or notice any problems with 60Hz. The difference is really insignificant.

Watch hockey with a 60 hz on one side and a 120 hz on the other side...the difference is significant.

Hard to believe the difference is significant. I would assume it is because they want you to see a difference. I'll play around with mine next week and see. What are the steps to do a side by side on my 120hz Sony?

My point is that nobody with a 60hz seemed to have any issues whatsoever in the past.
