At any rate, called them on the Monday morning and the rep said a credit refund should occur 24-72 hrs. Today is already Friday but no refund yet.
Therefore, I called again today and the first two reps said the computer system is down. The third rep, whose name is John (POS), put me on hold for 15 minutes and then just hang up the phone. Finally reached another rep and said the credit refund will take another 3 days to complete.
Let's keep my fingers cross this time. Sears has all the right stuff but just bunch of lazy morons working..... Count me in. My Samsung W/D order placed on 11/16 @ 6:30PM was cancelled without any reason. Never received confirmation email from Sears.com then called on 11/17, CS said everything was fine and I should have confirmation within 24 hrs and price adjustment of $899.99 has been requested. Nothing came but online order status showed completed so I called yesterday to check my delivery schedule. Guess what? The CS lady said the order was cancelled due to customer's request which I never did. Called again and sent email to sear.com then they answered it was cancelled due to OUT OF STOCK. How can this happen?? |

So has anyone else checked their Samsung panel to see what they got ? I bought the Samsung 46" LCD (LN46A530) on family and friends night and found the Picture Quality to be terrible when I hooked it up at home. I am connected to Dish Network HD and it works well with my old Vizio LCD. Turns out my expensive Samsung has a turd panel in it made by AUO and I plan to return it to Sears. There is a storm brewing over Samsung baiting and switching the panels . copied from Amazon: Summary: Be very careful when buying one of the a550 LCDs. Samsung notoriously uses different manufacturers for its panels, resulting in extreme variations of quality. "S" Panels are great, made by Samsung, and they conveniently land into the hands of early adopters and reviewers. Other panels, "A" and "C", are quite inconsistent in terms of quality. Mine, an "A" panel, was horrible. The colors were not the least bit vivid, even after many attempts at calibration. Contrast was good, but only when viewing the LCD at dead center. When viewing the screen even slightly off-angle, the contrast worsened significantly, and the image itself washed out. I was extremely dissatisfied with this LCD, eventually exchanging it for a Panasonic 46PZ85U, which I ABSOLUTELY love. You may be lucky and get an "S" panel, but be wary of this game that Samsung plays. How do you recognize what panel you are being sold on a Samsung LN46A550?? (A,C or S) Check the back of the panel: "A" for AUO, "C" for CMO, and "S" for Samsung |

I purchased a panasonic hdtv at Sears a month ago. The tv went on sale a week later for $200 less. I returned to the store and was refunded the 200 and an additional 10% ($20). Although, I don't think he would have given me the additional 10% if I hadn't asked. |

Only if it goes on sale at a competitor, and if it did, then the computer automatically gives you the 10%. The employee can't stop it from happening. |

Anyone else have a similar situation? When I wen tot he store they told me they were sold out of the Samsung, which was on sale for 40% off regular price. They let me take 40% off a larger Kenmore set, which I did. Delivery is today so I'll see how it works. I'd rather have a Kenmore as I heard sporadic reports of reliability issues somewhere. They also offered a ridiculous price for an extended warranty, which I declined. |

I went to the store over the weekend and talked to the store manager. He said that Sears.com is not same as in store, he can't give me any adjustment. So I called the Sears.com to cancel my order. Rep said would take 5 bussiness days. My lesson, no more their online order. rigaway said:swtu68 said:I’ve very bad experience with Sears.com for this promo. Their website software had error, but the customer service from Sears.com would not honor their mistake to give me the adjustment.
I was trying to buy Kenmore Water Softener. The email ad said that online promo is from 6pm to 6am (Sun night to Mon morning), so I waited till my kids went to sleep, then I can take my time to do the shopping.
Around 10:30 pm, I’ve searched this Kenmore WS ($599.99), it listed in red text ‘saving $120.00’ (20% off), but when I checked out, it only showed 10% off ($60.). I was thinking their website has an error, but I had a stupid thinking at that time that I believe Sears.com will honor their online error. So I went ahead to place the order and planning to call Sears.com on Mon. morning.
I woke up early on Mon. morning to call their online customer service and tried to get the adjustment. First the rep said that I should not get the 10% discount because that is for Sears employee. Then I explain I got your email for this promo, which is for ‘family and friends’, and asked where it said that is for Sears employee? Finally, she said I’ll get email in 24 hrs to 48 hrs to resolve.
I called Wed. again, the rep said it will take 3 to 5 days to get resolve. I asked why this need to take so long, I asked to talk to her supervisor. The rep told me to hold and I wait for 5 min, the rep came back and said it will take 3 to 5 days.
I asked I want to talk to your supervisor, at the beginning, she kept repeating that it will take 3 to 5 days according to her supervisor. I kept asking why I can’t talk to your supervisor, and then I insisted. Finally, I had hold for 20 mins to talk to the supervisor. The supervisor was very mean and rude. She did not listen the problem is and did not do any compromise; she just said you go to store to get the differences because I asked for store pick up. Then she hung up the phone.
I had the screenshots when I placed order, and I had the order confirmation email. If they don’t honor, I will cancel the order.
Be very careful when making online order from Sears.com. And also customer service from Sears.com are very very bad.
I had similar problem. I placed an order during their Frieds & Family sale, it was 12:35am pacific time zone. So, it was well within their advertised 6pm-6am no matter how you fudge it.

You will not get your refund in 5 days. You will have to call again. I had a similar issue with them, had to call them 3 times, each time they said it will take 5 days...speaking to supervisor was of no avail, finally I had to go to the credit card company (Citi) and log a dispute for the amount. Dealing with Sears online for a refund is really bad... |
