Very tempted on the Samsung washer/dryer for $899. But the Kenmore washer/dryer is $629 and then 20% off would be $503.2. Although the capacity is a little smaller, the price difference is almost $400. Anyone who already have them care to commend? |

Which Sears card should I apply to get the 10% off. Is everything 10% off if using this card in Sears? Thanks megamands said:desikid said:Do you have to use Sears CC to get this extra % off ?
No you don't, you would get sale price of the item + the addition 5% or 10% qualifies for it. If you wanted the additional Sears promos like no interest for 2 years or an additional % off promotion, then you need a Sears card. For example
No Sears card $1000 TV $799 on sale -$40 5% friends and family ----- $760 + tax = GRAND TOTAL
WITH Sears card $1000 TV $799 on sale -$40 5% friends and family -$76 10% off using Sears card OR 2 years 0% interest -------------- $684 + tax = GRAND TOTAL
redshoe99 said:what happens if you just placed an online order for a bosche dishwasher?? do they price match etc? If you haven't got it delivered or picked up, you can just go in, cancel the order (bring your online receipt) and just re-buy it. If you already received it, ask them to price match but its YMMV depending on how nice you are and how nice the associate or manager is because Sears doesn't price match special sales like black friday or 3 hour special events.

I am looking for Samsung pair too. Can someone please list what will be the best final price ? The ad lists the price 899.99 AFTER 10% discount. Is there any additional discount which can be applied to ? |

Don't buy anything from Sears you can't bring home that night. I bought a Fridge on Friends and Family night the last time. Took those idiots 3 weeks to deliver a fridge that couldn't stay cold enough. The replacement took 3 days to get and when I asked the delivery guy to fix the crooked doors on it, he told me to call a repairman! Sent it back and went to Lowes, they PM and also deliver from their warehouses! Sears in Roseville, CA = Sucks the big one. No managers gave a crap |

I assume the $899.99 is for samsung washer/dryer pair with electric dryer. Any idea on the final price of the pair with gas dryer? |

Sears doesn't have the $50 same day delivery option? takes like 1-3 hours. well worth the money if your old junk is broke down |

Lowes will match anything and so may Sears.... BUT, Lowes has better maintenance programs, way cheaper....for appliances. so you total seems to always be cheaper at lowes. Sears needs some competitive prices on the maintenance programs! |

I tried to get it matched at lowes but the model number is one letter off, even though it's the same washer! doooke said:Lowes will match anything and so may Sears.... The dryer model numbers match. Ad is misprint, on website washer model shows as WF218ANW which is same as lowes. |

FYI: Potential REBATE: $150 from the city. Check for your local rebate. In Austin, city provides $150 rebate on energy and water efficient washers purchased after July 7, 2008. In the list, this Samsung model qualifies. So in Austin, the PAIR cost is: $899 - $150 rebate from the city = $749 = HOT HOT HOT!!!

Actually if you read it carefully, it's $629 that's the final price, same as the $899 so the difference is really $270 and which one you get is probably dictated by how big a washer/dryer you need. The Kenmore one is 3.5 cubic feet and the Samsung is 4.0. Dryer is 5.8 vs 7.3. Math wise, washer is 14.3% bigger with samsung, dryer 25.8% bigger with Samsung. So you're paying 42% more for the Samsung. Again, just some fun numbers to play with, it will all boil down to how big a washer/dryer you need. |
