Does anyone know if the online sale will start at 6 PM eastern?

Anyone know if employee discounts can still be applied to the sale prices?

On that subject also, would a retiree need to be present to use their discount? Or could the info be given over the phone?

yes you can use your discount card on top of sales, thats why its so big to friends and family on VIP, they can buy for others as well this one night. You need your card or your discount # on your card if your on the phone.

If you get an employee that doesn't know the rules, then you can try. But we did a new holiday price match training last week and employees are no longer allowed to price match black friday and 3 hour sales anymore.

how do you guys think if we will get a better deal on washer/dryer during black Friday sale? My washer/dryer are still running but its about time to get them replaced soon.

Thanks, OP. This will pretty much pay for the sales tax.

lightning80 said:what time zone is the website on? 6pm Pacfic time would already be 9pm Eastern time. Sale would be over by the time I get online at 6pm in California? Last year it started at 4 PM Pacific time, just look for the 5% price reduction. And don't forget FatCash last year I got 5% back.
At last years VIP sale I bought a $1400 Samsung 50" HDTV for $800 after 5%, 10%, and $250 discounts, 5% Cash Back and a $100 price drop.

I too am interested in the Samsung washer/dryer set. Please forgive my ignorance...can someone tell me whether or not I need to apply for or pay with a Sears card to get the pair for $899? thanks! (I'm a little confused how the price is $899 for the pair after a 10% discount when the orig price is $749 each.)

I found a review for the washer on the lowes website:

The Kenmore set is $599 on BF and the Samsung set is $999 on BF.

The set is on sale for $999, then you get 10% off for the Friends and Family sale, that's how they get the $899 FINAL price. No Sears card required.

If you do pay with your Sears card, as the ad says, you can get 12 months no interest no payments.

So the Samsung washer dryer set is actually $100 cheaper with the friends and family day as opposed to the black friday sale.

Fist post guys, so be gentle . But I too am very intrigued by the samsung combo, and want to know a few things. 1. What do you need to provide in order to attend the event, just wait in line? 2. Would they likely have those items in stock to haul away that day or would i have to wait it out? 3...This is just props to the community...I am thourgohly addicted to this site as I just bought a new house and this place has all kinds of goodies popping up ....Keep up the good work!

Are you sure about the price for w/d on BF? Mine are still running so I can wait couple more weeks for best price.

May I ask is there any advantage of order online vs. go to store (like FW coupons, Cash Back) ?

Thank.

I'm ordering mine online because of 4% FatCash.

How can you get the 4% FatCash? Sorry first timer.
Thank.

That's what was in the ad before it was pulled. BFads.net pulled the ad but they still have the item list. I have heard that the ad may change between now and BF, but it's not likely the washer/dryer combos (nor the prices) will change, just some other minor stuff.

Use the "Cash Back & Coupons" link at the top of this page.

Can someone please list what will be the best final price ? The ad lists the price 899.99 AFTER 10% discount. Is there any additional discount which can be applied to ?

you can use a Sears credit card and get an extra 10% off, free delivery after rebate, buy it via fatwallet for 4% Cash Back...so:

$899 - 10% - 4% = $777.59 delievered for BOTH washer and elec dryer, it's a deal! I hope it's not a typo.
