Since it specifies the final price is $899 for the Samsung pair, I'm not sure if extra 10% off for using Sears card applies.

I don't think it applies. Nowhere on that page does it even say you can get an extra 10% off for using your Sears card. (It DOES say you can get 12 months no payments no interest OR free delivery with a Sears card). Here's how I interpret the ad:

In the middle of the appliance page, it says "20% off Kenmore & Kenmore Elite and 10% off all other brands." That means if the appliance is NOT listed in the ad, it's on sale for 20% off if it's a Kenmore/Kenmore Elite or 10% off if it's not. On top of those sale prices, you will get the additional 10% F&F VIP discount.

If the appliance IS in the ad listed at a "sale" price, then that's the sale price. If it says "Plus 10% VIP Savings" you will get an additional 10% off that listed sale price. If it says "After 10% VIP Savings" then the price shown will be your final price, as with the Samsung or Kenmore W/D set. I know it's confusing, which is why they list the W/D sets as $899 FINAL to try to help people understand that $899 is the FINAL price you will pay. I'm not sure how they could make that any clearer.

It says right on the website "In Store 6PM-9PM, Online 6PM-6AM"

Seems pretty clear to me.

The TV stand in the ad for $150 plus 10% off seems to be a good deal too. That will go great with the 52" TV I just got.

i wonder if the a500 40in and 46 will be released on f&f night... or if we will have to wait til BF

This is iffy, from what I have been told, it probably will. The ad says black friday stuff on this night. Also, the 32" A300 is in the ad for $499. Still a toss up though.

I was told that the $899 50" Samsung Plasma and the 32" Samsung $499 will not be sold on F+F Night. Something about not being able to restock in time for BF if they sell it all on F+F, because those + the 40+46" Samsung LCDs are going to be their main doorbusters.

I got my local Lowes to price match the $899 Samsung W/D combo. They had to check with the store manager because it was such a huge discount, but they did it. I got 10% plus a rebate for free pickup and haul away. Made a sweet deal even sweeter!!!

It's wrong to see that a store will PM and don't back out of it when the price is "too low" but thats life unfortunately.

And sometimes they will even "forget" to give you that 10% difference discount...just watch out for that one. I am personally a FWer but as a sales rep it is one's worst fear because:

FWers don't buy warranties
FWers PM like crazy

Both things that managers don't like and make the department look bad. Just so that you guys know...

You're absolutely RIGHT. This past Saturday I bought the Samsung 32 LCD for approximately $540 after a price match and the additional 10% (somehow I overlooked this thread). I just went to a Sears B&M and asked if they would price match this Sunday at the $499 price and they told me NO since it's a special event, almost like a Black Friday.

They said my only option would be to return it with a 15% restocking fee and to buy a new one. Not worth it, but I still might go in there and ask them to price match.

At least it's a great television. If you can get it, definitely go for it. It's only a 720p, but easily competes with the 1080p when it comes to picture quality.

Thanks, OP! Does anyone know if Land's End is included? TIA

They won't pricematch because the one you probably bought was the LN32A330 whereas the one that will be sold for $499 on Sunday Nov. 16 is LN32A300. I saw the box for the $499 LN32A300 and it has 6,000:1 contrast ratio whereas the A330 has 9,000:1 I believe.

Anyway, how did you get a pricematch + 10%? Are you sure it wasn't pricematch + 10% off the difference?

You are correct on both accounts. It was a pricematch + 10% of the difference. I got them to price match it $549 when they were selling it for $699. And I did buy the "LN32A330," I didn't even notice the difference in the model #s. The one I have is really nice.

Thanks for the clarification, makes me feel good about the deal I got. The LN32A330 has beautiful picture quality.

But they still gave me the reason of it being a "special event" for them not price matching.

I have a 10% off appliances coupon. Do you think Sears will honor it on that day ?
The fine print says sales are excluded -

'Not valid on sale, clearance and closeout merchandise. Special Purchases, Great Priced Items, Sears.com, Sears Auctions on eBay, outlet store purchases, catalog orders, Kenmore Pro, Maytag Neptune.'

but anyone has prior experience using coupon on the sale day ?

is the 20% + 10% off for kenmore elite off of the MSRP or the "regular" price that they are selling at the store now? for example, i'm looking at this Barolo Kenmore HE5t Steam washer reg price $1699 but online price now $1444.99. is the percentage off from reg price or $1449?
thanks
