I'm still waiting on my Sansa e280, to arrive. But, some had expressed the opinion that the View was a solid MP3 player. Here's a deal if you're after one...
I got my e280 from Woot, and warranty from squaretrade... it worked great until the LCD went really bright and got lines across the top. Not sure what happened to it, but I'm thinking it's time to make the warranty call and pick up the 8GB View...

My vista system cannot recognize it, either. Manual doesn’t mention Vista. So.. I got mine two days ago. The converter software downloaded from their website is problematic. I can hardly convert avi to mepg4 successfully. iamhappy said: Got mine too..BUUUUUT, its not getting recognised by my vista..(not gr8 help from sandisk tech support) not sure, if this is faulty piece or its vista problem. I have not received any manual, just the player,USB cable and earplugs. it took me 10mins how to figure out:how to start it Is it a vista problem? but,as per Buy.com site, it is compatible with vista. every time, i connect, it installs some drivers and thats it, does not do anything else. cannot see as a driver/removable drive or even in devise manager.. any solutions?
