My question is....are these real Sennheisers or fakes?
If you Google 'counterfeit sennheiser' or check this link at Sennheiser, you'll find that counterfeit CX300's are out there.

What makes you suspect that Buy.com, a large and well known online retailer that's been in business for about 10 years would be selling counterfeit?
I think the chances are pretty slim that would be the case, regardless of what one may think about their customer service or whatever else. Actually I haven't bought from them since early this decade so I don't know if they got any better since then, but anyway...

Actually, it looks like the breast cancer support expired May of this year
But that aside, it's a decent IEM for what it normally cost ($40), and I think a steal for this price. Definitely Leaps and Bounds better than the Skull Candy IEMs I seem many people sporting. Actually I'm buying this to give someone as a gift to show him just how poor the Skull Candy is.

Not saying that they are counterfeit, but I've seen postings that some of the third-party Amazon sellers were accused of selling counterfeits. Also not sure if retailers are aware of fakes out there.
loving the earphones. people at work hate it tho. it's lovely to confidently strut my pink 'kickass' headphones though in the face of all this antagonism.
