How much was it last year on BF?

Is frys.com a good vendor in terms of returns and making sure the items sold as new will not turn out to be refurbished?

Beware: banding issues

alert mods

OOS now.

Not to thread crap, but here is my opinion. This is a good deal, however, it is a 60Hz. If you want another 2 weeks, they MAY have the friends and family deal at Sharp. At that time, you MAY be able to purchase the 120Hz Sharp TV. Even then, the Samsung LN46A650 and up will most likely be around $1100.

I have been following the TV deals for a long time and I am in the market myself. However, I am holding off as much as possible for a really hard to pass up deal. Plus I have my eye on a 120Hz TV.

^where could you get the friends and family discount? where would that be at?

I got this TV last year during BF from CC. Love this TV. I think the banding issues are on older aquos models.

Does 120Hz make a difference ? In other words, is the difference noticeable ? Thanks

I'm also in the market, and the deals keep getting better and better! If you need one now, I think this is a great deal, but I'm with you on waiting it out a bit.

These are still big ticket items, and with the economy in it's current shape, I bet they will have more trouble moving these in the weeks/months to come.
