Pretty hot, esp if you can pickup instore. Shipping is only $42 for me, so $169 including sales tax for Georgia. I noticed they now have "pickup instore" option now, but neither store in Atlanta has stock. Still not a bad price shipped. I just paid $243 2 days ago for these, so I am definitely going back for a price adjustment. |
Probably worth noting that shipping on these is cheaper if you buy them one at a time. |
These are nice, they have been $60 for awhile, I bought some week before last for $59 plus ship (shipping is cheaper buying two individually than with pairs, at least it was for me). Anyway, I paired these with a Sony SA-W2500 subwoofer. Found one BIN eBay for $93 shipped before 25% live cash. The set up sounds good, great for the money, IMO. |

Went back to Fry's today and exchanged mine to get 2 black ones for $119. |
May want to buy them seperately. Shipping on one (for me) was 15.47. For two it was 42.37!!! Edit: Nevermind.. I see that was mentioned already! |
If you do not have a Fry's nearby, consider the Polk Monitor 50 for $89.99 shipped at Newegg Note that the center suggested by the OP is no longer available; Newegg has the CS1 for a decent price, which contains the same 2 woofers and tweeter as the R50's, for a respectable $79.99 shipped http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882290111 This just so happens to be my front set-up, driven nicely by an Onkyo TX-SR606. |
Polk subs are not that good. That being said I own the r50's and they are great speakers. |
How do these R50's compare to the Cambridge S305's that were on sale earlier in the week? |
