Ah, some kids hear Poe and think of Teletubbies (do cry for them, Argentina, please do). Actually the end piece was my BF entry. Are you doing an entry? Yeah, I'm gonna try putting together a video next week when I have some free time! This seems like a pretty fun contest! |

I see some possible competitors have already given me some lowest possible ratings on YT to drop my overall stars for the entry. Might be a giant co-inky-dink, but who else would, really, be doling out 1-star ratings for my obscure little entry? Oh well. I guess some folks think it was a 1-star entry. |

I'd like to ask what someone already has, but it wasn't answered. How many videos may we submit that will be counted towards our entry? |

Okay. sorry, rebelagent for the delay in answering your question. We had to put our heads together on this one. If you want to enter more than one video, go for it. While a member may submit more than one entry for voting by the FatWallet public, only one prize per member. Let me know if I need to elaborate on that. |

OK.. so if I am getting this right.. - I can enter multiple videos for the contest. - All of those videos will be counted.. as long as they are valid. - In the event two or more of my videos are prize eligible, the video with the highest prize will count, and I will get that one prize. |

I can picture the mass amount of videos posted on this thread last minute after people sees so little already submitted videos here. This will encourage more video submissions, but discourage my patience.. >.> |

No offense but FW is simply looking to get people to do some free advertising for them by having people post videos about FW on youtube just for a small CHANCE of winning a camcorder worth a few hundred $$$. Sorry Fatwallet, if you want people to advertise for you PAY THEM. like advertisers pay FW for having banners and stop trying to get good people to do work for nothing while FW reaps the benefit. As you can see I dont like what FW is doing here....shameful IMO. |

As you can see I dont like what FW is doing here....shameful IMO. FatWallet already has it's ways of advertising, and they already have a neat promotional video made a year ago. FatWallet always gives back to the community already, by offering Cash Back as well as these frequent promotional giveaways. This would event puts fun in the community to see what videos are being made, and besides, a chance for a free $1700 camera. So far theres only been one video, and in my opinion isn't the best. It's not hard to win this camera, stop being a lazy ass and expect FatWallet to give you everything. From my contributions, I don't believe I've earned FW anything in terms of commission or profit, but I've already received support and 5 free t-shirts for contributing, that's like $13 in shipping costs. It's not a SMALL chance, in half a month, only 1 video has been submitted. I think FatWallet already pays enough for the amount of advertising, and doesn't need any more. |

$1700 camera? lol.....try dividing that by 3..... At any rate, FW owes its entire existence to the community. Getting something back like FatCash and more should be expected. You can call it my opinion if you will but this is a misuse of the FW community. I dont like it.... |

I have to disagree 100%, Mr. Onion I have some skills with video editing that I learned at school (not nearly as much as others in my classes though, or my sister) and I have access to professional editing software (Final Cut Pro) and HD Cameras. If the teacher would let me use them (which he probably wont) for this, I'd love it. I will try to find a camera I can use for it though. But, my point is that not everybody that has video production skills works for an ad agency or does work in that business. Not only is this a good way to get a start, but you get some rewards as well And I understand it's your opinion that it's a misuse of the community, but myself and others completely disagree

It is true - any of you could make a video and upload it to YouTube...but hopefully, the "advertising" that comes from your video submissions in this challenge will promote what a fun and vibrant community we have at FatWallet. Our intent is to have more to share with each other. Besides, I have one of these cameras and, it's pretty darn cool. Rock on! |
