Can we use a copyrighted song in the background or would that be copyright infringement? Is that what the "Don't use any one elses material" item means? Just curious. |
The use of copyrights material like music and/or video footage will disqualify an entry from the contest. That doesn't mean you can't use it and post it, it just won't be included in the voting. We like Brittany Spears just as much as the rest of you all, but she may not be worthy of FatWallet status Seriously, have fun and be original. Those are always the best ones! |

You can use credits if you choose to. YouTube doesn't require waivers. Should be okay. |
