Maxtor OT4 Mini 80GB - $29.99 Maxtor OT3 Mini 80GB - $27.99
which one is better?
is this the portable external drive that doesn't need the power supply correct?
From what I can see, one major difference between the two mini hard drives is the warranty. The OT3 appears to have a one year warranty, while the OT4 has a 5 year warranty. 4 extra years is well worth the extra $2 in my opinion. Either way, green for you OP for a good deal on a portable hdd, even if it is somewhat small.

. . . why are all the selections "greyed" out and cannot be added to cart?
I'm in on the OT4 mini. Last time they had the sale like this most of us had our orders canceled as they apparently do not check inventory before allowing the order to complete.
Doesn't hurt to try again. Maybe I will be lucky this time...

I'm using 3.0.3 Firefox, and was able to complete the transaction just fine.

Works with Opera, but the shop tells me: The process order function is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.
