Generally not, since the online prices are usually at least 10-20% lower then the instore prices already anyway. I bought a microwave online for $140 and instore the exact same one was $170. The online prices are usually much better.
Don't forget to signup for their emails (at a junk account) and get the $5 off a $50 purchase coupon.
Or try coupons SDEALS817 for $5 off $50 (birthday special coupon - should work all November)
Maybe said: Crap - only 5% off TVs. Not worth the effort.
Send me the $90 since you don't need it then!
I've been holding out for Black Friday sales, or post-BF sales but with the savings from Midnight Madness, the free shipping, and the free haul-away of my old tv this is pretty hard to pass up now.

Um...I've been drinking, so tell me where I'm going wrong.
-I'm guessing that he was planning to save more money by purchasing another TV, rather than purchasing this one at regular price and sending you a check for the difference. -free shipping...I can't hate on that, but many many more TVs will be shipped free in the near future (probably some that are much better deals than this one). -free haul away is marginally worthwhile if you have a fridge that's got wood grain on it, but most of us would at least rather Craigslist a TV for a few bucks. -with the deals upcoming in this horrible economy (for some)...it ain't that hard to pass up.
Red it up kids.
Edit: worthwhile is only one word. Darn spell check failed me.
i can't see the extra discount either......... i did once but now it isn't working once i updated my cart..it will show the discount in your cart before check out not during.... so you can see what your saving.. but it is not working now for some reason

I'm waiting until the New Year to get a TV when the prices will be even more enticing.

Don't be surprised if they try to write off 2008 and preserve 2009. Meaning, they might just blow out as much as they can this year to clean things up, but get tight fisted come the new year.

Good luck to them trying to get tight fisted when the economy will be finding the bottom of the toilet in 2009.
