OP, thanks for posting the deal.

Or, get the LN52A550 model for $1,566.99 + $200 off on Samsung BDP-1500 Blu-Ray player for combined total of $1570.58. Discuss more about this TV/Deal in this thread

Thank you. I was waiting to see if Best Buy, Circuit City or Frys would have this model on sale for Black Friday, but I doubt I would be able to get it for cheaper, considering I will have to pay sales tax (7.5%). Yesterday I bought the matching Bell'O SFP-9901HG stand for 252.99 W/free shipping @ Amazon. Couldn't believe the price, everyone else has the stand for $400.00. So for $2186 I get the TV, Stand, and Blu-ray player. AWESOME DEAL.

Amazon.com charges tax ? I try to pick this tv and I got that -$200 discount plus estimated taxes in excess of $160.

Can anyone confirm this?

Incredible TV. Friend bought it for $2400 shipped (no deal) from OneCall 1/2 yr ago. Surprisingly warm picture like plasmas without too much reflection. I still can't shell 2K for a TV and will wait.

I checked on it 2 days ago on Amazon and it was 1908.89. Now it has gone up. I just pulled it and it is 2059.37. So it went up 150.00 in 2 days. People just wait until right before Christmas and you will be seeing these everywhere for less than these prices. They have come down but have a long ways to go. Keep in mind that with this economy, there is a glut of LCD tvs now. They were banking on people buying since tv is going digital. They didn't bank on the economy cratering. They ramped up production and not many buyers are buying now. I think you are going to see these around Christmas or slightly after for 1,500.00. I am going to get one then.

I bought the LN52A650 at Sears - price matched $1999 from a local Frys, so with the 10% rebate on the difference my price before tax was $1919.
I prefer brick+mortar with a product like this.
Only had the set a week but it's simply amazing - upscaled DVDs (using an Oppo) are incredible as are of course Bluray on my PS3.
Highly recommended - any size in the 650 series. Read the forums at avsforum.com or reviews at Amazon.
Will get a maintenance contract from Mackam (about $200 for 3 years)

i had 3 of these that all had a "purple haze" Like my blacks would look purple, like if the whole screen was black. Fail.

Got myself a 750 after samsung replaced my 650 for free.
