Thanks to lameleopard for posting the LN52A650 deal here. I thought this deserves a new topic especially looking at a price difference of $360 (60Hz Vs 120Hz)
Note: The $200 discount may not show up if you are using Prime account.
Edited on 11/14 @ 3PM EST: The current price for the TV is 1576.99 ($10 more). Updated the title and the final value.

I can't completely agree. I agree with you personally. But the difference is not quite what you think. Many people are indeed looking for that difference.
Think about what 10 extra inches on the diagonal means.
A 42 inch is ~21 inches by ~36 inches and roughly 754 Square inches A 52 inch is ~26 inches by ~46 inches and roughly 1156 Square inches
Going from 754 to 1156 is a difference of 402 inches. I understand it's basic math and I'm not pretending I'm doing something magical here, but when you think about adding 402 inches to 754 inches it's a lot more substantial than thinking about adding 10" to 42".

When one explains something as logically as you just did, it actually is compelling.
ah...its 550, I need the 650(120mhz) at this price. Guess I will have to wait a little longer. Good deal since you are getting a blue ray player as well.
is 60 vs 120hz making big difference in movies? Gadaska said: ah...its 550, I need the 650(120mhz) at this price. Guess I will have to wait a little longer. Good deal since you are getting a blue ray player as well.

The current price for the TV is $1577, the player is $192, then less $200 = $1,569 for the pair. You can do the similar deal with the A650 LCD, A750, A550 plasma, etc.
by the way, sharp Aquous used to be one of the top LCDs but dont know why they dong look so good side by side at stores and also prices tanking like crazy. Are they just making them out of plastic now?
