Today I just bought this laptop.

It has just 1 gig RAM but its price is slick for it.

In the store (Champaign,IL) it was the last one.

I think you need to check your store.

If people just bought a last one and never posted it here then we wouldn't know about the good deals.

low end specs, really low.

I'm a newbie, so please be kind, but this is better laptop than the emachines one for $299, correct? RAM is the same, and the hard drive is smaller on the Toshiba (120GB v. 160GB), but the dual core processor makes it worth the extra $60, would you agree? Hanx.
