For the week of 11/16-11/22, CVS is offering $15 in Extra Care Bucks (ECBs)* instantly at the register with the purchase of $20 in Duracell batteries. Most CVS stores have a $5 off $20 Duracell coupon tearpad hung with the batteries which you can use with this deal. (YMMV as people have of course been ripping these off and Ebaying them). You could also inquire at the camera dept. desk for a coupon if you don't see them - since you'll probably only be doing this deal once or twice (right?), I wouldn't be concerned in this case about alerting employees.

If you can find a $5 off 20 coupon, that's essentially $20 in free batteries. Even if you can't, look for little peelie stickers on individual battery backs for $1.00 or $1.50 off per pack, which will still get you batteries for dirt cheap. This deal is limited to one per customer (read: one per CVS card).

*ECBs are the same as cash @ CVS; spend them on your next purchase of anything in the store, with the usual exclusions.

Happy holidays, all!

So does mine.

If you have enough of the $5/2 coupons use six of them in six separate transactions.

You're right...you know what they say about assuming.

I heard about this about 10 days ago and checked alll 5 of my CVS stores. NOT one had a coupon tear pad. Neither of the 2 store managers I spoke with had gotten them or know about them.

Chicago area north burb residents lose again. In my area we have NOT gotten the monthly books for Oct & Nov. We will not for Dec. Complaints to corp are responded answered saying "all the shelves are tagged." This is TOTAL B.S. In my stores the shelves are STILL not tagged with more than 5-6 items. There are NO tags for anything they are out of stock on. The cashier's and store mgr REFUSE to write rainchecks for these items since they 1) do not "know" about them, 2) I cannot provide proof of what the deal actually is.

I am playing this game. Daughter sent me a book from a different area. However, it is CVS that is losing out and the mfg who sponsor these promotions. Complaints to mfg are answered: "it is up to each store/company to determine their policies." Sure, but you are giving them a deal and NOT selling product or gaining market share which I assume was the idea behind granting pricing/coupon promos.

DUMB DUMB DUMB

This deal IS good all week; the BuyItNow coupons on Fleabay are selling for about a buck each and up. A buck to save 5 still isn't terrible, though I hate to reward the jerks who swiped all these coupons last week.
