As for this HP deal, not bad. For me it's a week late. There's a calculator I want that's been $60 forever. I see today there's free shipping on it. So I could buy it from HP for $45 + tax. Unfortunately for HP I found the same calc (new in box) on eBay for $32 last week (after Cash Back). They snoozed, they lost.
I have used coupons 2x on purchases thru HP using live.com. Both times the live.com monies have been paid to my Paypal account but I have also heard of them not being paid.......so YMMV.

Not exactly. In some instances, there are automatic discounts on HP's site that using a coupon would eliminate. So its not as clear cut as that.

If you're asking if they only way to get your CashBack from live.com is through Paypal, the answer is no. They'll also mail you a check. I think they'll also put it in your bank account.
I've only used Paypal so far, but it has worked great.

Couldn't get the 25 off 50 toner/ink to work. 30 off 150 seemed to work however. I'll hold off unless the 25 off 50 starts to work.

In most cases the 30% off does not beat the 25% CashBack, and here is why- most notebooks have an instant rebate of $150 or $200, the 30% discount code removes that and adjusts the total accordingly. notebook with CashBack: total price=$1200, instant rebate =$150 25% CashBack total would be $787.50 notebook with 30% off code: total price $1200 (no instant rebate) total would be $840.00
I talked to a HP sales rep through live chat and that person told me the 25% CashBack from live.com had expired on the 11th of Nov. I don't know if her statement is true or not since I still see the CashBack deal on live.com.
Thanks. I'll just have to wait for eBay CB to work then, right now its at 20% anyway. I can wait for it to go up to 30% for that extra savings on the laptop my gf wants for xmas =P
