WTFD4V1D said:I remember that using a coupon negated the Live.com CashBack. I was wondering if it does this for this HP deal?It will negate it. Eligible transactions are forwarded to the MS Live Cash Back system, and I think they look for a one-liner: price paid. If there are any price adjustments like for coupons, discount codes, etc., they invalidate the transaction.
As for this HP deal, not bad. For me it's a week late. There's a calculator I want that's been $60 forever. I see today there's free shipping on it. So I could buy it from HP for $45 + tax. Unfortunately for HP I found the same calc (new in box) on eBay for $32 last week (after Cash Back). They snoozed, they lost.
I have used coupons 2x on purchases thru HP using live.com. Both times the live.com monies have been paid to my Paypal account but I have also heard of them not being paid.......so YMMV.
DealNegotiator said:Try to use the coupon if it's 25% or greater. At least you know you get the 25% no matter what, if not 50%. If it's less than 25% don't mess with it.
Green for you OP!
Not exactly. In some instances, there are automatic discounts on HP's site that using a coupon would eliminate. So its not as clear cut as that.

If you're asking if they only way to get your CashBack from live.com is through Paypal, the answer is no. They'll also mail you a check. I think they'll also put it in your bank account.
I've only used Paypal so far, but it has worked great.
