Can you buy now and price adjust/match or return/rebuy on 22nd? Anyone has experience doing so?

This is the U100-420US (black) or U100-411US (white) model, for those looking for specs. Usually selling at the big box stores for $350.
RAM: 1gb DDR2 HDD: 120gb SATA I 802.11: b/g Bluetooth: No Battery: 3 cell
That is a good deal, but you can do better with eBay + Live CashBack without having to stand in line. If you're going to a MicroCenter anyway, take the coupon along. Actually, the better part of this is that $50 external DVD burner right below the Wind ad (the Wind has no optical drive).

This looks great for portability, but how good is it for general usage? I may buy it anyway because I need to get Vonage and that $250 instant rebate is very tempting.

If by "general usage" you mean e-mail, web surfing and occasional word processing - the Wind (and any other netbook for that matter) is fine for that.

There is a forum dedicated to the Wind at msiwind.net - lots of good discussions if you're still deciding. Lots of consumers and tech-mag editors have rated the Wind as the best netbook on the market, but you should know the pros and cons depending on your tastes.

Do any other big box stores price match and have this in stock? I believe BB only has this item online.
