be careful with them. I cancelled my service with them in july and am still getting bills. I am ready to call a lawyer. We have contacted them every month. They just dont seem to get it.

According to the Terms & Condition...
"activate new wireless service on a qualified rate plan with a two¿year contract. Upgrades, add-a-lines and GoPhone (prepaid) service are not eligible for the CashBack program."
"a.upgrades, add-a-lines or device purchases with GoPhone (prepaid) service" is not eligible??!!
Does this mean that this is only for new customers?? Thanks!
Man, too bad it says upgrades are not eligible. I'm ready to make the switch from Motorola to HTC.

Get Additional Savings through Your Employer or School! AT&T has business agreements with thousands of corporations, government agencies and educational institutions to offer wireless products & services to their employees and students at a significant discount.
To determine if you are affiliated with an organization that qualifies for additional savings, we need your work or school email address. If we match your work/school email address with our list of qualified organizations, we'll send you an email with instructions on how you can take advantage of discounts on eligible products and services.

To place an order for an iphone online, you need to have a premier account, and you need to go through the link sent by att to your eligible work/school email address. If you use live.com link you will not be able to place an order for iphone even with a premier account.

I freakin' can't believe you had the nutz to post this. You are truly a troll, with no morals. But, go ahead and waste everyones time and efforts, if you cancel, the CashBack gets cancelled, hence the 60 days wait... stupid.

Has anyone had any luck finding out if it will definitely work on the iphone through the Premier account? I only want to get the 16gb iphone if i get the CashBack. Otherwise, I'll stick with the 8gb. Thanks!

I wouldn't see why not - nothing in the terms would indicate otherwise. But, if you are still worried, just order the phone thru the link, and call to have your discount applied to the service. Since there is no equipment discount on the iPhone even for Premiere accounts, you lose nothing. To get the service discount, with Cingular you would simply fax over a very simple form with a copy of your work ID - not sure if the processed has changed at all.
Has anyone tried this on upgrades? I was already to jump on an iPhone.

I used the Live link, click on the iPhone link on the page, loging to my Premiere account and I can order the iPhone. I'm just trying to figure out where the one poster got the terms that says it doesn't work on upgrades. I looked at every link on the Live search CashBack "transfer" page (the page that tells you your being transferred to the merchant and that your transcation will register for Cash Back) and I cannot find these terms. Anyone know where these came from?

I read that and assumed he meant that he ordered the phone prior to seeing the deal and was simply going to reorder it - nothing wrong with that!

The iPhone isn't available on the regular AT&T page, so how do you think CashBack tracks you all the way to your premiere account? I got an email from my premiere account, so I'm assuming I have to then use that link to make my purchase? This is so confusing, but might be worth it! Haha, I'm not so good with tech stuff, so maybe it's a simple thing. I didn't have to fax anything with my ID, they just sent me an email to my school account, which allows me access to the premiere account.

Just ordered the iphone with new service through the premier site. This is what I did. (1) Went to Live.com, and did a search for ATT. (2) Clicked on Link in the gray box for the CashBack offer from AT&T. (3) Got directed to AT&T's regular site, and then went to Business tab. (4) Inputted my work/school email address on the right middle of the screen. (5) Received an email from premier site, saying that I qualified. (6) Clicked on link in the email to "start shopping." (7) purchased the iphone and the new plan. (8) Waiting to see when I'll see it in my CashBack account. Wish me luck, and I will keep you guys posted!
By the way, does the CashBack apply to the equipment only, and/or to the 2 year contract of $90/month plan? That would be awesome if I could CashBack for both!!!

The iPhone is now available on the normal (non-Premiere) website.

I'd be really surprised if you get the CashBack confirmation email as you completed the transaction in a different session/browser window.

Were you forced to activate or can you just purchase the iphone itself?
Got onto AT&T, ordered a 8GB Iphone 3G for myself ($60 550 Family plan and $30 Data plan) and a RAZR2 V9x for my wife (who didnt want an iPhone) which should have costed $200 (has a $100 rebate). Check out bill $399. Got my Live CB for $100 confirmatory email today, and will apply the RAZR's card rebate for another $100. So only $200 bucks for an iPhone and a brand new RAZR2....$100 a month for us both with texting.

Thanks for the info. You used to not be able to do family plan with iphone & other types of phones on the same plan. Maybe they changed that too realizing not everyone in a family has use for or wants an iphone.
As a newbie to Live CashBack - when you get the screen that asks for your email address do you enter your live.com email or your regular email? Sorry. I read the thread but I didn't see an answer to this.
TIA
