Deal #2: Buy the PlayStation 3 160 GB Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Pack and get $60 off a future video game purchase. Offer valid when shipped and sold by Amazon.com. Amazon reserves the right to change or terminate the promotion at any time. Limit 1 per household.

great scott!!

3 Games at $60 each - $25 = only 14% off
4 Games at $60 each - $50 = 21% off

Now, you could do a bit better if you bought the cheaper games on the list.

SSB Wii = $39.99
+ GTA IV Xbox = $37.99
+ Spore PC = $43.99
+ Any $50 Game = $50 (Free with $50 Gift Certificate)

= Saving ~30% on those specific games.

Anyway, if you're looking for some combination of these specific games, not a bad deal.

The real problem is that new video games cost $60 in the first place.

Pretty good deal if you were going to buy some games on the list. Hard to pull the trigger on $180 worth of games though.

Anyone know if this list will be the same everyday, or will it change as BF approaches? TIA!

I imagine it depends, if it sells a lot then games will disappear. If it does badly they may add games to the list.

"As we countdown to Black Friday, the Amazon.com Video Games team will select one special offer for our valued customers at a special, low, one-day-only price. Quantities are limited*, so the price is only available while supplies last. Deals will go live at approximately 12:00 a.m., Pacific time."

I'm thinking it's going to change every day.

i rather get Live search to save 20% to 25% on eBay

I like today's deal. GH3 & 2 guitars for $55 out the door. Been wanting to try these games out but not ready to drop $200 on a set so this'll keep me happy. Thanks OP and green for you.

i got few ghIII fir ~53 \each @cc 2 weeks back

I'd expect more from Amazon. Go drop 120-200 bucks on games, you get $25 off? Uhhh, I'm sure you can get them cheaper by shopping around. Or using coupons at other places. Pretty hard to get excited about this deal.

If you're spending that much you should get $50 back.

It's updated in the link.

WHOA! This deal is awesome to me. I was going to buy GH3 for $80 on Black Friday at Best Buy, so this saves me $25 and tax. Thanks OP!

GH3 (for Wii) is $50 at Target on BF

I thought that was only with one guitar though. The Wii verson of GH Aerosmith is $99 with two guitars.

They want to charge me $15 shipping and $5 tax and give me a $19 credit for one of the guitars. So it ends up being $77 for the game and 2 guitars. Where is the deal in that?

Sorry, but you must have done it wrong. I did the exact same thing, and my total just came to $56.99 + tax with free shipping. I don't know why you didn't get the free shipping.

any reason NOT to get GH for the Wii? Can I download new songs like the PS3? Is there anything the Wii is missing that the PS3 has?

I have both systems and am wondering if I am missing something by getting it for Wii.

I still don't see the $57 deal. I only see it for 37 + 20 + 20 = 77.

slimjim said: I still don't see the $57 deal. I only see it for 37 + 20 + 20 = 77.

works for me. did you go to the final page? thats where the discount shows

You have to go through the checkout process for the extra $20 discount to show.

Thanks. I went through the first few steps, but not all the way.

This is a pretty decent deal. I recently picked up 2 of these Nyko Frontman guitars for the wii system and they work guite well with GH3, GH:A, and the new GH:WT games. It lacks the touch sensitive frets of the new World Tour oem guitar, but you can still play the game with the Frontman. Is is supposedly going to be compatible with the upcoming Rock Band 2 game.

I have a frontman for the PS3 and hate it. The neck is too thick. I end up playing it on my lap like a steel guitar or something. Works well enough but I'll never be great that way. YMMV.

I clicked on the OP's link and Guitar Hero 3 (Software Only) shows up as $49.99. Did it just change or am I doing something wrong?

You're right it just changed, sorry, but thanks for the update.

Looks like the price on the game is up to 49.99

I got the deal. $56.99 for the 3. Sweet deal! Thanks for the heads up! For all those trying, you've got to go to the end of the checkout. Your deal won't be processed so don't worry about going to that last page. Once you see that total of $56.99 then you can checkout. I've been wanting Aerosmith for the WII. I'm so happy!

Many thanks to the OP!

Just what my kids are begging for (And I said NO!)

Now, they will get it afterall!

LOL! Sounds like my mother when I was younger. Happy for the family.

GH3 is now 49.99, you have to pick free Super Saver Shipping. How did you get GH3 for 36.99?

BlueGoose177 said: GH3 is now 49.99, you have to pick free Super Saver Shipping. How did you get GH3 for 36.99?

This morning it was $36.99, but it went back to regular price in the middle of the day.

It was $34.96 when I bought it. Two guitars was an extra $20. That's lame if they upped the price because I checked just now and it's back to $34.96.

I've been noticing Amazon do this and I think it's outrageous!!!! Twice now I've gone to check out products (rock band 2 game disc and frontman wireless guitar) and then when I go back to buy them a day later the price has gone up $10! It's almost like a bait and switch scheme. Does the price jump back up just for me or does it go back up for everyone?

And as for these deals ... how is getting the PSP 3000 at list price (oooh and saving 15% on one game) a deal????? Amazon I love you, but you're starting to disappoint a little.

You're suppose to be getting the game for free, not just 15% off. I agree not the best deal. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

This is a decent deal today.
