It's still there.

I am not sure I need to call the customer service to wave shipping fee before or after placing order?

Can anyone tell me how to get the $250 instant savings if I do the customization and not use the link. If I use my discover card or chase freedom, I will get 5% or 4% in Cash Back but if I use the link provided here, I will not get the Cash Back.

Thanks!

I could not do it.
I found that I had to purchase through the link.
i even called them to order it and the guy could not push the sale price nor the 5% discount through.

Thanks OP! I had to jump in on this very good deal.

Thanks again.

If you guys aren't able to get free shipping. Use your own UPS or Fedex account. I used my own fedex account and had them shipped. I didn't see a way to quote the price but it will be a lot less than $150. Probably around the $50-$60 dollar range.

Just bought it with the 20" digital monitor (2009WFP) for $409 including tax and shipping to Mass. Great deal with the monitor. I see XP drivers on the Dell support site for the Vostro 200 desktop and I'm assuming that will work with this "slim desktop". Can anyone confirm? If I can't get XP drivers I think I would cancel the order.

My dad wants a computer just for internet. This would do right?

alert mods

I have one and I like it. It is running XP and it is very fast for internet use. I got it from the old deal at http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/arcmessageview.php?catid=74&thre...

i am interested in this deal but I wondering about the case, it is slim so will this be a problem adding things like firewire card and a video card?
and seems like it is worth it to pay $50 for ultra sharp digital display right?

Here is a link that I found that may be of some help...

Has anyone received theirs yet? Does anyone know what brand power supply it uses? In the above link it shows that it uses a Bestec power supply. These were the problematic psu's that many people had problems in their eMachines. In fact, that is why I am looking to get this, to replace my eMachines whose psu went and damaged the motherboard.

I placed the order two days ago. But so far there is no order confirmation email? Only an acknowledgment. Anyone else?

By the time I add in the word/excel, upgrade to 250gb & upgrade to Intel® Core™2 Duo E7200 (2.53GHZ, 3MB L2 Cache, 1066FSB), it's over 600.00, seems like a lot, is there another machine I should be looking at?

Here are my specs for 606.00 Can someone tell me if this is worth it? I need a system that has word/excel, we run AOL & Itunes along with Word or Excel all at once and it is killing our current machine, we are always out of memory, out of space.... having said that, have I equipped this thing too greatly?

What are those of your doing when receiving free shipping? When you call, is the rep giving you a code to add to cart or are your ordering over the phone?

alert mods

If your system is over 499 you get free shipping, however some people have called and had their shipping adjusted (because they asked)... but others haven't been lucky like that.
