My local Wal-Mart also had a lot of these items on a $1 clearance rack. I got stuck behind the lady who bought ~300 items just before closing time at the only open line.
They also have Mario boy tee's on clearance. mario I bought some yesterday after doing a search online, all the online stores I checked sell Nintendo tee's crazy high$$. WalMart also has some other character tee's on clearance so just do a search if your interested.

Does anyone know if we choose the ship to store option, they'll ask for the credit card at the store? I'm planning on having someone pick up the order in another state.

If you log in to your account online, there's an option to let someone else pick up the order. It's already paid for so they won't need the credit card. However, they will need the order number and a driver's license for ID.
