Title is misleading. Please add After Rebate. Thanks.

That's a mongo rebate. I try never to buy anything that would be a complete ripoff if the rebate doesn't come.

alert mods

I'm in. Every PC3200 deal that I've seen involves a massive rebate, so that is nothing unusual.

LIMIT TWO rebate award(s) per product

So you could get four gigs for 30 dollars AR

Any similar deals on notebook memories? I haven't seen any decent ones for some time.

alert mods

Not all. Fry's was blowing out 1GB PC3200 last week with no rebate.

What rebate company handles this rebate?
$42 is a fairly big chunk of change.
Rebate companies (aka Banks) have some bounce checks (I had one) ...

alert mods

Would the coupon void the rebate?

It looks like Kingston rebate processing is in-house. (ETA: guess not, sorry) I don't have any experience with them.

No.

I'd jump on this, outside the fact that I'm looking to upgrade from the single core. Can't see dumping more money into the machine. Green for effort.

I'm in the same boat. Can't justify putting more money into my Athlon XP 1800+. Too bad this deal didn't come 3 years ago!

Kingston rebates are are processed by rebate-zone, not in-house. They are reliable as long as you follow the submission instructions.

I got excited over nothing. My socket 939 opteron setup already has four 1GB sticks. I thought this was for two 2GB sticks. Note that 4 1GB sticks in many motherboards is not totally usable because of the way DDR memory is addressed.

Red for not including "AR" in title. (When will n00bs ever learn?!?)

Couldn't get the %5 to work, so $18 for me. Just in time too. Thanks OP.

Came close to pulling the trigger for this as my machine only has 512Mb currently, but just picked up 2Gb DDR2 800 for my second set-up for $10 AR from the EGG. I gonna wait for better beal. Green for the post OP.

For some reason, the 5% was removed when I tried to checkout through Buy.com, but I was able to use the coupon by paying with Google Checkout.
