Specs are identical. I suspect they're both from the same actual LCD manufacturer.

according to Hanns G's website, the HI-221DPB has 1 Analog VGA in and 1 DVI-D w/HDCP input.
I assume HDMI references are talking abou the DVI input.

I Tried order one it shown price for special buy $179.99 -40 final 139.99 +tax. but when I put order it shown me $299.99-40, not like the web shown. So I chat with the customer support, a person did research for me. she asked me zip code then give me a refund ($128.40) to my credit card.

Just tried to buy it... bought a coupon from e-junkie, put a monitor in my cart, got to the checkout but needed to create a Staples account. Then someone in my family needed attention, came back to checkout and it sold out between when I refreshed my cart and when I tried to complete checkout.

So annoyed now. I really hope they have a similar/better black friday deal, and congrats to those that got in on this one.

Bummer that the monitor is out of stock already...why bother, you can always use a new account to be safe.

Staples sent me a $25 off $100 coupon about 5 minutes before I found this thread this morning. I am using 2 of these monitors in front of my now driven by a dual-head 9600GT. They look and work great.

My order appeared to go through OK, hope so.
