How much did you buy it for ?

$149...I think.

$25 off $100 coupon gets this to $115.

im seeing 299 with 40 off

shows up as $179 for me.

I see $179 before $40 coupon...nets to $139.

Add it to the cart, it will take another 40 off of 179 and it will be 139. Great monittor. I bought it last BF for the same price(with coupon) and after 1 year it still looks good. And its HD compatible for those who wanna use HTPC.
Buy it now!!!!

Green to OP.

Fast edit chucka

I'm wicked tired.

True 1080p my ass!
Good price for a monitor, but HannsG needs to fire their marketing department. With their logic you'd have "true 1080p" on a 1280x1024 monitor as long as it could handle the input signal!

It does not have DVI port, right? Based on its specification and reviews...

The reviews and specifications don't say DVI port, but the description does. I don't know which is correct.

when I click the link it shows what you are describing, however it is $259.99 not $139

Shows $299.99 - $40 = $259.99 final price for me. Odd that it shows Reg. $299.99 crossed out, and then lists $299.99 right below it. Am I missing something?

$150 at Newegg, FS, No rebates: Link

I bought the $1.25 coupon (e-junkie), worked beautifully. Received the code automatically via email in less than a minute after completing the purchase.

Item 725240 Hanns G 21.6" Widescreen LCD Monitor Expected business-day delivery: Tue 11/25 Qty: 1
at $179.99 Each Price:$179.99

Subtotal: $179.99
Coupons: -$65.00
Tax: $8.75
Delivery: $0.00
Total: $123.74

it shows $139 for me. no problem. too bad i already ordered the v7 22" monitor

Enjoy true 1080p HD-quality video through the DVI port with HDCP ready functionality.
This is a bold lie
True 1080p is 1920x1080 Resolution NOT 1680x1050

Thanks, OP! Indeed, it is an excellent deal when you buy the e-junkie coupon. In fact, I just paid $150 for this Saturday on Newegg. Now, I'm kicking myself because I got it for $30 less! I wonder why a lot of the reviews said it does not have DVI. According to the Staples site, it is the same model number as the Newegg one, so it should have DVI.

I'm seeing the same thing.

EDIT - Worked for me when I switched to IE browser. Hrm...

Is this monitor a better choice? I guess I'm asking if it's worth buying this one and returning the V7. Anyone know?

Very tempted, but I may just wait for a deal on a bigger 24" panel. It seems like lcd panel prices are dropping across the board again after being steady for so long.

Anyone think this is a must jump deal?

I've been monitoring 22" prices for over a year. My price-point to buy has been about $100 with no stinkin' rebate. This is best I've come across for a pretty good LCD at just over $100. With the e-junkie coupon this is close enough for me for $115+Tax. In for one. Thanks OP!

If it's any consolation, viewing this resolution would matter for computing, but not likely for HD movies... Unless you like sitting at your desk with your face planted in your monitor.

What's really bad, is that it can't even reach 1080p, given its 1050 horizontal lines of resolution, much less get to 1920 vertical.

e0junkie is out of stock, anyone else know where to find other than eBay?

Great deal - Thanks OP!

The link on Staples home page shows it as 179.99 plus 40 off coupon but when you click on it it shows up as 299.99. I contacted customer service via the chat function and they had me submit the order and credited my account the differece. They said they would try to correct it so the lower price would show up. The woman I spoke to was very helpful.

thnx

I have this monitor and have been very pleased with it's performance and quality. The 3 year warranty is excellent as well.

By the way, this monitor has HDMI, not DVI (you can even see the HDMI logo in the picture). But you can buy a cheap DVI to HDMI adapter to make it work.

I dont think thats true. Look at the pics at Newegg(2nd from right):

Why base doesn't look the same? One of website, Staples or Newegg, have wrong model show.

i have the 19" version of this monitor. i was intially a bit wary of the hanns-g name, but after reading plenty of reviews, i pulled the trigger. i haven't looked back once - i've had it for about 2 years, no dead pixels, works great. i'm tempted to jump on this offer, the extra few square inches of real estate would be nice.

Ditto here, I've learned first hand that Hanns-G is a decent brand. Now if I only had $125 to buy one! (hey, I didn't put "broke member" over there on the left for nothin'!)

Try Safari (DUCKING FOR COVER!)

broke down and got one to use with my laptop. The wsxga+ res matches the notebooks screen res and won't tax the video card as much as a 24" would. Also the lightweight factor as opposed to 24" makes it somewhat portable.

(trying to justify this )

ejunk 30 off 150 still works for $2.15, just did it getting the monitor and a $12 filler for $133 out of door + $2.15

check your credit card statement. You ordered two, or they thought you ordered two. They know you got two of these, the keep inventory and stuff, you know. Plus each package has a tracking number, gets billed for shipped, and is missing from their warehouse...

Only charged for one... Only ordered one... I understand that they will notice it missing in the warehouse but other than that there is only one way to know where it went. The UPS label is the same on both. The UPS guy told me that sometimes a company in its haste will print a duplicate label. When the labels get to the guy that sticks them on the boxes and prepares them for UPS they most likely don't notice the duplicate label. When UPS delivers the two of them however it is recorded that two packages were delivered to my address. So it all comes down to will Staples care enough to do the legwork to recover a $120 monitor. Only time will tell...
