Is it just me, or is Target not showing up as a CashBack store on live.com? And, what does the OP mean by, "search transformers?" I tried the link, and entering the word "transformers," and got nowhere. Also, I tried Target (of course).
It's a SPONSORED LINK that appears by normal Live.com keyword search, just like the eBayCashBack deal running for 6 months.
Keep trying keywords and refreshing until you see a 20% link to Target or the Sponsored Sites link on the righthand side.
Use of a coupon code *MAY* invalidate your CashBack, per Live.com's TOS. In practice, only discounts activated by links are for sure going to invalidate your entire CashBack (they lose the referal link), and coupon codes *MAY* work, but is entirely at your risk to chose to use them or not. Past use at other sites has been positive (Magazines.com), however FootLocker using links was not.
Buying gift certificate are explicitly excluded in Live.com's TOS. Best not to risk.
Read the CircuitCity 20% thread here for more info..a lot of people are asking the same questions over there.
Do I earn CashBack on everything I buy if I click the link, or only for the item I found at Live Search CashBack?
According to the FAQ: "Different products may have different CashBack percentage rates, so the rate for other products you buy may be higher or lower than the rate displayed on the Live Search CashBack site for the product you initially searched for."
It sounds like I may not get the 20% discount on the items other than I initially searched for. Is this correct?
Get Real! If you want transformers at 20% off then GREEN, otherwise this post is misleading and you will be naive once all is said and done.
Added for RED.
Ignoring the problem wont make it go away. Reality must hurt. If someone can show me where it states I will get 20% off of the 32" TV I want to buy that's on sale at Target, please let me know as I love a great deal.

Yeh... because I didn't get CB for all the "cheap gold", "cheap ps3" and "cheap wii" I bought on eBay.
Bah! Placed an order last night and was only credited with 10% Cash Back today! Filled out their contact form to report the problem - will keep you posted.

Anyone else have this happen?
yes, same here. I also got 10% for last night purchase.

I'm still not showing any CashBack from last night, did you guys use the target account checkout or Amazon checkout process?
I used the Target checkout. Just remembered that I used a 10% off Target coupon at checkout. Possible that they were smart enough to pick up on that and lower the CashBack accordingly? Niicceem, did you use a coupon too?

You will not earn CashBack rewards on purchases where (a) you open the store's web site in a different web browser; (b) your browser is not configured to accept cookies; (c) the purchase is not completed in the same web browsing session (not to exceed 24 hours) initiated by clicking on the eligible advertisement or listing; (d) the order is later cancelled or the goods or services are later returned; (e) the store does not report the purchase to Microsoft; (f) the goods or services are acquired for resale or other business purposes; (g) you also use a separate discount or coupon; or (h) you exceed the annual monetary cap on CashBack rewards. Live Search CashBack rewards are not available on purchases of gift cards or gift certificates or on purchases you make from yourself or entities that you control or in collusion with other people.

Well, I did receive 10% back, so that pretty much shoots down the theory that they are actually following their own rules...
Did you actually get the 10% back already or is still in a pending status in your Live account?
If you had the funds already deposited into your paypal account or the physical check has been cut then you are very fortunate...if not, you are going to be sweating out the next 60 days waiting to find out if you receive a CashBack cancellation email.
I bought a bike rack, and the Cash Back showed up to be only 10%. The CashBack only appeared after item has been shipped. Not cheaper than WalMart overall, but beats pick up in store.
I think the reason why you guys got 10% instead of 20% is that you followed the search link of "transformers" or "ipod" whatever but turn out to buy other stuffs. According to Live.com FAQ: "Different products may have different CashBack percentage rates, so the rate for other products you buy may be higher or lower than the rate displayed on the Live Search CashBack site for the product you initially searched for."

Why you spoiling it for everybody. Everybody wants and deserves to have 20% off + any 10% bonus coupon.
erichazann said: I clicked through early Decemeber and just made a purchase on Dec 12th.. 20% CB is showing in my account today. I re-clicked through by using my browser's history. The original click through is supposed to be good for 60 days tho. If you clicked through and didn't buy anything, look in your history for a link that starts ssl.search.live.com -- and redirects to target. It should do the standard live redirect and reassure you that you are getting 20% CB.
