presumably..and this is the $1M question - can we buy 6 cards on ONE order (to get free shipping) and submit them in TWO claims for 3 cards each? I think that would be ok according to the T&Cs of the rebate, but I'd hate to be wrong.
I wake up early today and really worth it! Thanks, finally catch this deal!

I would NOT touch Ritz again with a 10 foot pole. They advertised a camera at a good price. They sent a confirmed order email. Three days later they send email to call because of alleged "credit card" problem. Takes forever to reach them by telephone, and then they say they cannot honor the advertised price. Nothing to do with the emailed "credit card" problem! I ask if there is anything they can do if only in the interest of customer satisfaction. They say they will email a $10 coupon. Never received the coupon. Have read in other threads how Ritz often advertise low price, get your telephone number, and then call you for camera add ons. You can search these threads to confirm that at least some others have bad opinion of Ritz. Of course that is NOT to say that sometimes things will work out fine. Just a heads up, and a honest report of my personal experience with Ritz.
Consider the risk/reward of blocking your money (high) and awaiting the rebate (long, maybe never) for these cards of ONLY 4Gb; only 3 of which might be useful, and 3 not. We will all derive our own conclusions and arrive at our own decisions.

I am from New York City, and Ritz has ALWAYS been shady, and ALWAYS Bait'n'Switch!

you may order up to 9 cards for free, but shipping is about $7 for me.

I've never had a problem with Sandisk rebates, haven't done one in a while, but I've had no problems at all...

got in for 2. $120 total, FS. since the rebate is asking for original UPC, i think purchases on the same order are going to be okay.
will be expecting 2 $60 prepaid visa cards when everything settles.

Please check your confirmation email. 4GB SD card is actually 2GB. Ritz told me it's a mistake on their web site. sigh ... I have canceled my order.

agh... this is not looking good. especially since the rebate is specifically for the 4 gig.........
mine shows up as product "100190107" which is for the 2 gig

I needed SD cards, but these are rare sd non SDHC cards, I think. I didn't need cf cards anyways so I might as well bite the bullet and take the $7 shipping charge. Let's see what happens if I get the 4gb or 2gb sd cards...
Is there a pick up in store option? To make sure what you see is what you get!

Anyone notice that the product number on the RitzCamera website is different than the one on the rebate claim form?
Ritz website has Mfr # SDCFX3-004GR-x3 as the product number. Rebate form has SDCFX3-4096-901/SDCFX3-004G-A31 as the two eligible product numbers.
Was going to jump in on this deal, but will pass - this one does not smell right and I just finished up the Lexar/Beach Camera one. For those taking the leap, would suggest making a copy of that webpage - may help turn things in your favor once your claim is denied.

It works fine. Thanks OP. In for 6 cards. SanDisk is awesome for fixing rebates.

Not to mention their price for the 2GB is 29.99 and their price for the 4GB is 49.99 - so a 3-pack bundle of the 2GB listed as normally $150 would make no sense.
I think the CSR just has no clie... and my confirmation email clearly says a bundle of 3 4GB cards

I would be very careful here. I ordered a FAR printer (with camera purchase) from Ritz Camera. I was shipped an inferior printer, without them telling me about the substitution, yet was still charged the price for the higher priced printer. The Ritz CSR on live chat clearly stated it was their policy to substitute OOS items for stock they did have, even if the item was inferior to what was advertised as FAR. They refused to credit back the difference between the printer I received and the printer my card was charged for. Last time I ordered from Ritz. The above is what happened to me, and based on this, I personally am staying far away from Ritz and this deal. Besides, this deal goes to January, there will likely be deals on 8GB and 16GB cards from reputable dealers to come.
here's what my e-mail confirmation shows: Merchandise Freight Total ----------- ------- ----- $120.00 FREE $120.00
Item Qty Price Status ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- MEMSDOFFER08 1 60.00 Ships when components are available SANDISK SD BUY-3 THEN FREE REBATE OFFER ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 100190107 3 In stock and reserved SANDISK 2GB SD EXTREME III MEMORY CARD ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- MEMCFOFFER08 1 60.00 Ships when components are available SANDISK CF BUY-3 THEN FREE REBATE OFFER ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 100190065 3 In stock and reserved SANDISK 4GB CF EXTREME III MEMORY CARD ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- i'll wait a bit before cancelling or changing my order. maybe ritz will honor their ad and ship out the 4gb sd cards?

momoman, your CF cards are fine. but your SD cards are in trouble. better call CSR about half your order because it'll be more a pain if they ship the 2 gigs...
I was told that there is only one UPC for each pack. here it is.
Me: so there will be problem for apply 3 UPC for 3 cards for the rebate, Samuel L: This item comes as 3 pack... 1 upc code for that pack Samuel L: Is there anything else that I can assist you with?
*********************************************************** Rep said 2GB vs 4GB issue has been forwarded to billing dept. *********************************************************** Vincent L: Hi Akhtar. Welcome to RitzCamera.com. I will be glad to assist you. Vincent L: Can I have the stock number of the item you are referring to? akhtar: Hi I just wanted to know if I purchase 1 Mfr # SDCFX3-004GR-x3 Our Stock # MEMCFOFFER08 qualifies for the $60 rebate. The item number does not seem to match the rebate. Also it says you need 3 UPC's. Is this a mistake? Vincent L: Please stay online while I get the required information. Vincent L: Thank you for waiting. akhtar: no problem Vincent L: Yes Akhtar; you will be qualified for the rebate offer. akhtar: ok so I buy 1 pack of 3, and I get $60 back? Vincent L: Yes Akhtar; you will. akhtar: ok thanks

bobnfloydlm said: I bought both the SD and CF cards and the SD ones says 2GB in my confirmation email. =( Hopefully this all gets cleared up. that is so weird... I wonder if my email is "right" because I sued google checkout?
well, if i get the wrong ones, I will return 'em and demand my shipping costs back

Call the rebate center. The CSR should be able to "resubmit" the rebate. I did that this morning.
Got a "declined" post card today. Checked on web-rebates, this one has "NonCompliance Determined", the other one has no error yet. But, look at the "4 steps" at the top, maybe the other one has not reached that step yet. Too bad, had the feeling then this is gonna happen.
OK, called CSR, and explained (of cours with my bad English, phone call is always hard for me), and finally was told that "it's a mistake". Hopefully, it's a mistake. Don't mind when I can get it, sounds like in 6 weeks. Well, we'll see.
