IMO the 2100 Max is the better deal but if money is tight... Read up on Navigon, they have some great things but also some disadvantages. Lifetime traffic is awesome if your city has it.

FYI the non-Max version is $79 refurb at Newegg today. Main difference I can see is no traffic or freshmaps on the non-Max...

The max is 4.3" widescreen whereas the 2100 is just 3.5".
