I haven't yet tried this since I still have a DS Lite, but I saw some sites detailing an upgrade procedure for the DSTTi.

Don't send anything back to them without tracking and/or sig confirmation. My three DSTTi's returned "never arrived", and since I sent USPS without DC or sig I'm out of luck, and the $30+.
