Figured this might have been posted already, but didn't see it in a quick search. Thought I'd toss it out there for all those who are still looking for another RB or GH guitar:
Damn.. Bought these last week for $20 each. Well worth $20 but $10 would have been so much sweeter.
I've been using them for the last 4 days and I'm addicted. The guitars don't look quite as nice as the official guitars but they have the same feel and for the price I'm extremely happy.

just picked up ps3 gh3 bundle for $40 and bought one of these. 2 guitars + game for $50!
I didn't come up with this, coreyC did, but I bought the guitar and aerosmith for the wii to build my own bundle. the guitar works on GH3 too. It doesn't work with rock band, but I don't know about world tour.

There's a USB dongle that looks like a guitar effects pedal. It serves as the wireless receiver. If you use rechargeable batteries you can also use the included USB cable to charge them from your PS3 (or PC, or other USB device), but I don't believe that any data is returned over the connection.
I haven't seen any support for any PS3 guitar hardware on the PC. I think the original XBox360 wired Xplorer guitar is supported by Frets on Fire though. Haven't looked in a while though. Is my information out of date?

Yes, the wired Xbox360 Xplorer guitar is fully supported on the PC with USB connection.

I never herd of it before. I purchased 2 guitars last week and 9 days later I find out of the price difference but get shut down for a price match.
i thought it was eradicated.
Had just ordered an item and then 2 days later the price dropped. Emailed Amazon for a price adjustment. Received a long reply stating that Amazon had discountinued its 30 price protection on Sept 2008. Most retailers will give a price adjustment in a 14 day period - Amazon's new policy is disappointing.
