There have been nuerous deals on this monitor which I usually chime in about....this one is the best so far even though I got mine at BB on clearance for $302+tax a few months back. The monitor is an excellent buy for the $$. I have been using mine for months now and I love it! |

Seems like a very good deal. I think I will hold off until after the holidays to buy it. I think it will go sub $300 soon and then I will snap one up. I think the 3 year warranty is the clincher. I would consider the I-inc, but the 1 year warranty tells me they lack confidence in their product.

TD lists this @ $359.99. Did the price go up? Or is there an upcoming sale? I shudder at the thought of buying from TD, but that's just me. |

The hanns G is on sale at Newegg now for $339, the I-Inc clone is supposed to be on sale at CompUSA (and maybe TD) on monday (ie cybermonday)for $300. |

Still on the fence on this one. I have been looking at a 24 inch monitor in the sub 350 range but this one is really tempting. Can anyone comment how XBOX 360 looks on this? |

Can anyone comment on the black levels of these cheap, large LCD monitors? In particular, how do dark scenes look when the lights are down? |

Black levels are just OK, on par with the low end LCDs like Westinghouse, etc. Xbox360 looks great on this monitor but just to be clear, this is really a MONITOR, not a TV. ash =o)

ash =o) Thanks for the 360 info. I have a non-hdmi 360 so I'll have to buy a vga cable, since this monitor doesn't seem to have component in. I'll mainly use it as a monitor but there are times I'd also use it to play 360. |

this has a component in cable. its really a low end tv masking as a monitor. i wonder if this is even a true 1920x1200 screen i bet its more resolution with overscan/stretch |

I took my Xbox-360 off of my HDTV and hooked it up to this to see what it looks like. It's pretty good, as it is full HD (1080p), however not as good as my HDTV. Lol though, there is no really comparison between the two, because I spoiled myself with the Sony 52XBR4 last Christmas. So coming off of that and going to this you can clearly tell the difference and that the Sony is so much better for the xbox360. Like ashVID said the black levels are mediocre. I think thats the major difference and that is the ONLY downside to this monitor. Every other aspect of it is awesome. |

Hey guys, I am pretty much sold on the Hanns G with the 3 year warranty. I don't need it right away though as I will be very busy over the holidays. Do you think it will be as cheap, or cheaper during the after Xmas sales? thanks |

Broke down and bought the I-inc. It is much cheaper ($257) then the Hanns G with TD live CashBack. I am pretty sure it is the same rebadged monitor. I will probably get a 3 year squaretrade warranty which starts at $44 before coupons (there are 40% off ones floating around). |
