nothing wrong with that, a new wireless controller costs at least $50. It only shows that they didn't sell as many Arcade versions that they thought they would

Wait, I was wrong, it does give the 10% off! Thanks!
I have a feeling down the road, ppl will be looking more for bigger HD for 360 since you can load the entire game on it. By loading the game, you reduce load time and dramatically reduce the over heating issue~ Anyways, gonna wait for a great deal on 80+g hd.

Is the drive inside the enclosure replaceable? In other words, if you buy this 20GB drive, can you open it up and replace it with a laptop drive you might have laying around?

kinda, and it does work (including over live), but MS could detect this modification later, and decide to ban for it.
I have a question - I'm new to the Xbox360 scene, I have a new one with the 60GB HD put away for the kids for xmas. Obviously, if I get this deal, the controller will come in handy but I'm wondering if I'll have any use for the 20GB HD. From what I've read so far, it seems I can't easily just swap between the 2 HDs, is that correct? Besides just to have the 20GB in case my 60GB craps out some time in the future, is there any good use for the 20GB? I was thinking maybe I could just load it up with movies/music and swap the HDs whenever I want to access those movies/music. Is that doable? TIA.
I tried for local pick up, but inventory is messed up. Got a call saying it wasn't available, but I did score the $24 gift card because it wasn't ready.
The good news is that it still shows in stock in the Greensboro, NC store. So if you are in the area and want to score a $24 GC, order one and select local pickup.

10% off coupon no longer working
By the way you can swap the hard drives. However if you're using live you'll need to recover your gamer tag on the other drive when you use it.
Thanks! Did in-store pickup. 10% off worked for me!

Sorry for the noob questions but if anyone can answer I would appreciate it. I have the arcade version with no HD, so if I get this external HD, can I play the older XBOX games now that I can download and run the emulator? Thanks
GameStop is giving 20$ for 20gig HD's right now. That brings cost to ~18$ after tax for just the controller. Sell them the controller for another 20$ and you'll make a couple dollars.

Correct. I haven't checked the drive to see if the Xbox files are on there, but I would think so. If not, maybe they can be downloaded?

They auto download, when you put in a OG Xbox game

You can't easily swap between the two. If you have a 60GB system, you are probably not going to want the 20GB in the future even if the 60GB dies. I would sell it on fleabay or Amazon.

What are you guys smoking, it takes 4 seconds to swap the hard drives.

Yeah, but you can't have a profile on MORE than one device at the same time, makes it a moot point.
