I ordered one last night. When I received the order confirmation, it was estimate to be shipped today (12/3). I just received an email informing the order has been delayed and will be shipped on 12/10. I hope Dell doesn't cancel this deal. |

Delivery Date: 12/8/2008-12/10/2008 Received an email stating: Order Delayed At Dell, our customers are our top priority and we regret when we are unable to ship our products by the original estimate provided. Although we anticipated being able to ship your order sooner, we are experiencing an unexpected delay and have adjusted the estimated ship date as reflected below (see Revised Estimated Ship Date). We value your business and appreciate your patience. What's Next? When your order ships, you will receive an Order Shipped email that will allow you to easily track your package(s). At any time you may click on the Order Status bar below to view the current status of your order. Revised Est. Ship Date: 12/10/2008 |

Mastawoo said:Hey Venkat - how did you get an extra 10 off with DPA? I think its the extra 3% using this trick when you pay with Dells credit card. If paying with Dell Preferred Account (DPA) you may save an extra 3% (4% at Dell EPP), here is how: 1. During checkout, select Credit Card as method of payment 2. Click "Change Payment Type" 3. Click "Choose" link under Credit/Debit Card (again) 4. Under "Save 3% (4% at EPP) with Dell Preferred Account! (Discount applied at Final Checkout)" click "Click Here to Take Advantage of this Offer" link 5. Click "Choose" under "I already have a Dell Preferred Account" if you have one, or sign up for a new one if you don't 6. Checkout, enjoy your 3% (4% at EPP) savings |

I called up Sony Style and they confirmed that even though Amazon and Dell are authorized dealers for Sony products, the $150 credit will not apply if you purchase the PS3 from them. Therefore I went ahead and purchased the PS3 from Sony Style. It ended up being $428.99 less $150 credit = $278.99. Which is still a great deal. |

I have a feeling we are going to be seeing a lot of ship dates pushed out. Had Dell do this to me before on a Graphics Card deal. Ended up cancelling because they had to push it out so many times. |

The sales rep did not gave me a reason. Neither I was interested as it took forever to get someone on the phone to confirm this. He mentioned this question has been coming up a lot today. |

with another CC you will never use remember to use the Sony points (credit redemption form - may take a few months to process) to get another $14 off your bill. |
