Was at Costco earlier in the day and saw they had a stack of the players around (Northern California Costco). It's the DMP-BD35AK model with HDMI cable included.
$279.99 - $80 instant rebate = $199.99
Not as hot as the BF Sears deal, but it's still pretty good if you're in the market for a good blu-ray player.
I would call ahead to see if there are any in stock.
Note that this is the DMP-BD35AK (note the extra "A"), which is presumably a relabeled version of the DMP-BD35K.
I don't know whether it's eligible for the two free DVDs, although now that I look at the website again (http://www.panasonicsleepingbeauty.com/), it only specifies "Panasonic DMP-BD35", so maybe it works either way.

I saw some people said there is also a $50 coupon of this blu-ray from Costcost's mail.
Check your mail box to verify this!?

Went ahead and got it, marginally cheaper than Amazon with tax. Pretty decent deal. This was in Austin, Tx.
Good deal on C-net's top-rated Blu-Ray player and the HDMI cable is a nice bonus. I was waiting for these to go below $200 to jump on the bandwagon. Green for the poster.

went to the costco in waltham, ma. No panasonic Blu-ray players. No signage for it, either. Any other sightings?

I was in costco in westbury ny today and they did have them. Can anyone verify the $50 coupoun in the booklet
There is no coupon. The Costco mailer shows $80 off, but it's not a coupon, it just shows the current store discount, which is $199, down from the regular $279. There's no further discount.

Today I saw in Dedham(MA) costco for 169 after manufactures instant rebate. I don't remember exact Panasonic model, but its BD30XX only.

Got one today in La Mesa, CA for 199.xx. They had the Sony BX1 for 229.95 also. Not sure if that's a good deal or not. Have read a few things about it too.

So..is this deal dead? I'd really like this player (it's the best out there for the price right?) and the HDMI included at this (or close) price.

Saw them at Costco 12/23 for $279.99 with no rebate listed on the tag, I did see the instant rebate on the tags a few weeks back...so I think it's dead.

I just received a coupon book with a $50 coupon starting Jan 5th. I'm hoping I can pick one up next week!
