zemus said:this thread is probably being monitored. Now it probably is. Before that, we were possibly "under the radar"... a noob on another deal site said something to the effect of "not sure if you can use it anywhere... call Zipcar to check..." |

i tried adding only the one for my city (not to be too greedy). it applied, and within a few hours, disappeared. i hope whoever called returns their zipcar 5 minutes late and gets slapped with the 50 dollar penalty. |

Here is something interesting...I had 5, $25 credit and I zipped yesterday for around $30 and I still have $19.xx left to be used, HOWEVER, the other 3, $25 credit disappeared! Basically, for all the time I spent on this I get to use $50 credit! Not too bad I guess! In a way, it is a good free publicity for ZIPCAR, they let people apply the promo code for few days and before everyone start using it, they removed the credit from the account! |

My friend works for zipcar and according to her, this is an as yet unpublished promotion that is valid only for members that haven't made a reservation in the last 3 months. Someone leaked the codes before the promotion began. Sorry, but none of the driving credits will stand as they've updated their software to wipe them automatically. You have to have received an email from them with the code in it to get the credits. |

It's not just you, but you should really read the top two posts of the thread entirely, and maybe a bit more. cheapDC said:i was able to input & stack these...but when i logged into zipcar the next day, all the credits disappeared! i input them again, and the same thing happened, even though they show on my account as i input them. anyone else had this problem? |

All my stack "credits" disappeared except one, which is the Portland code. Since I live in Portland, I think they honored it. So you might want to check your credits and just use the one where you live at. |

I got charged as well - but if the credits appear in your account, and then you reserve a car based on that credit, isn't it some sort of fraud to then remove the credits? How is it the customer's fault if the credits posted correctly? Zipcar can't just take them away. I'm thinking of disputing the charges if they don't refund my money. |

Update -- I reserved a zipcar this weekend and b/c I had so many credits (I added them again Saturday) I wasn't charged a thing! Awesome promo; and b/c I saved money this weekend, I'll probably rent again next. Zipcar wins in the end. |

used multiple codes, mrbc19, but didn't repeat the same code. like you, i had the credits disappear a few times, but i just made sure that the credits were in the back before i returned the car and voila, nada! talk about zip! |
